Wesley Snipes’ financial woes mount as he is now a financial fugitive of American Express.
The “Blade” star was slapped with a lawsuit in Orange County, Fla., Circuit Court on Friday by American Express, which claims that the actor charged up a $29,343 bill with them during his time as a free man.
According to the complaint filed, American Express is seeking the above amount, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs.
The lawsuit is not the only reason the “U.S. Marshals” actor won’t be leaving home with his American Express card. Snipes began a three-year prison sentence at Pennsylvania’s McKean Federal Correction Institution in December 2010 for failing to file tax returns.
