Teens Hurl Racial Slurs, Point Gun At McDonald’s Manager For Dropping Their Change

Three Memphis teenagers were arrested after threatening a McDonald’s manager.

On Saturday morning the teens pulled up to the drive-thru in a 2007 Hummer HU3. According to WREG, the teens paid for their order but the manager dropped some of their change while completing the transaction.

In response, a 15-year-old passenger yelled racial slurs at the manager. The manager reportedly asked the young man to refrain from addressing him as such. That request prompted the 17-year-old driver to reach for a gun and begin to open his door.

The manager immediately hit the security alarm and locked the window, the local news station reported. The teens were still on the scene when the police arrived. The police arrested the driver and both passengers.

The 17-year-old driver was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon. The police also found that the gun had been stolen since February. The other two minors were cited with curfew violations.
