Just when things seem to have cooled between Brandy and Monica, Brandy reignited her side of the beef with her former collaborator while they celebrated Whitney Houston’s birthday.

Things kicked off Wednesday, Aug. 9, when Monica wished Houston a “heavenly birthday” on the day the pop vocalist would have turned 54.

Brandy followed up hours later with several dedications to Houston, who died on Feb. 11, 2012, which was Brandy’s 33rd birthday.

“You live on in me… I can feel your Spirit inside of me and all around me,” Brandy wrote in one post. “My angel, my friend, my fairy God Mother.”

The message was slammed online as being selfish.

Brandy responded to the bashing by calling on Monica to “check her evil ass fans” and to “come get your hating ass pigeons and put them in their place.”

Brandy’s message didn’t go over well and many simply mocked her further for saying Houston passed the torch to her.

While many have claimed a feud between Brandy and Monica has been reignited because of the social media posts, Monica hasn’t responded at all to her fellow “The Boy Is Mine” singer.

The rift between the singers began nearly two decades ago, with Monica seeming to admit on “The Angie Martinez Show” in 2012 that she fought Brandy backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1998. Since then, Brandy has thrown shade, as recently as 2016 when she refused to participate in Monica’s #SoGoneChallenge, which took over the internet. But, again, there was no response from Monica.
