2 Virginia High School Students Fight, the White Parent Jumps in and Slaps Black Student

A white Northumberland, Virginia woman has been charged for slapping a high school football player engaged in an altercation with her son.

According to WTVR-TV CBS 6, the parent and football volunteer, identified as Heather Sebra, appeared to break up the fight in the video.

Instead, the woman pulled teen John Thomas away and slapped him.

John tells CBS 6 that Sebra’s son jumped into a conversation he was having with another person.

Sebra’s son believed John called him the n-word but he says that was not the case.

Video of the incident shows Sebra’s son walking up to John and slams him to the floor. The two roll around trading blows.

Sebra comes into frame along with another person to break up the fight but fails to do so.

“I saw her hand come down. Then she hit my face and then she said ‘he will not call my son the N-word,’ ” John says.

John’s mother, Nicole Thomas, is outraged that this happened to her son.

“How dare you?” Thomas asks. “For this woman to restrain my son by holding him by the shirt and then sticking her finger in his face after slapping him. To abuse, berate, belittle, intimidate and physically attack someone is disgusting. I think it needs to be addressed and think people need to be punished for it and held accountable.”

John reveals that he allowed her to hit him because “in the end I’m going to win.”

Consequently, Sebra was charged with assault Wednesday.

The Northumberland Sheriff`s Office has a protective order served against her as well.
