The Ku Klux Klan tried to hammer home that it was a close-knit group, a fraternity. In Pulaski, Tennessee, a group of Confederate veterans convened to form a secret society that they christened the “Ku Klux Klan,” according to the History Channel. “The KKK rapidly grew from a secret social fraternity to a paramilitary force bent on reversing the federal government’s progressive Reconstruction Era activities in the South, especially policies that elevated the rights of the local African-American population.”
Do You Believe in White Supremacy?
White supremacy was the foundation of the Klan. Its entire focus was on suppressing Black people and pushing the warped agenda of white supremacy. Seems like a question not necessary on that application.
