Nigeria. Calabar Carnival in Nigeria, is tagged as Africa’s biggest street party. It was created as part of the vision of making the Cross River State the No. 1 destination for Nigerians and tourists all over the world. The carnival  begins every Dec. 1 and last till Dec. 31. It has boosted the cultural mosaic of Nigerian people while entertaining the millions of spectators within and outside the state, improving the nation’s economy. 

Ghanaian Carnival

Ghana.  The Minister of Tourism Akua Sena Dansu, launched the first ever Ghanaian carnival  in September 2013.  The carnival will be an annual celebration of culture for the West African nation and is  set to benefit it economically.
