AMC has released a new 16-second promo for “The Walking Dead” Season 4, which is one of the creepiest and scariest ones yet. The clip shows a series of quick flashes of presumably intense scenes from the upcoming season, but the most unforgettable part of the clip is the voice that can be heard begging for help.
In the clip, Rick turns to reacts to the female voice in horror, while Carol appears to be praying, and several other cast members stare in fright as the female voice pleads, “Please, please, please, please help me.” Who in the zombie world is that? It doesn’t sound like any of the characters from previous seasons, but it does sound like that creepy voice in horror films that baits the naive would-be Good Samaritan character into a deadly trap.
Previous clips and statements from various people involved with the show hint that a new threat emerges in Season 4. Is this distressed voice alluding to the new danger.
We won’t have to wait much longer because “The Walking Dead“ Season 4 will premiere on AMC Sunday, October 13 at 9:00 p.m.
