Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant spent 17 years in the NBA and at 34-years of age – old by NBA standards – the five-time champion suffered from a possible career-ending Achilles tendon injury in the 2013 playoffs, leaving his return to the game questionable.
Bryant sat down with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin to answer some tough questions once and for all about his recovery and return to the game.
When asked what type of Kobe Bryant player we can expect to see upon his return, the basketball star replied, “Hopefully the Kobe that used to have an Afro, but can’t grow an Afro no more.”
