For quite some time now rumor mills have been rife about Jeff Koinange leaving K24 but have been denied by people at Longonot Place. Well not anymore, sources indicate that Jeff has left the station.
Jeff is headed back to South Africa where he has been offered a role of Chief anchor and reporter for Arise Africa, a post he formerly held with CNN. The fact that his wife and son leave down south may have played a role in his decision.
Arise Africa is a new international TV station that will broadcast all over the world, owned by Nigerian Nduka Obaigbena (Pictured). Mr Nduka is also the chairman and founder of Nigerian newspaper THISDAY, one of the largest and most influential media brands in Africa.
The announcement of the new TV station was made in July when the business mogul broke the news in a red carpet event. “Ladies and gentlemen, before now you are aware that news and information on Africa has been broadcasted by Sky News, Aljazeera and CNN but THISDAY is set to alter the information landscape with Arise Television Network in about 180 days from now, broadcasting live news and information on Africa from major capital cities of the world to over 200 million global audience….
