Music legend Donna Summer, who was one of the most important figures of the disco era, reportedly has died of cancer at the age of 63. The website TMZ is reporting that Summer died at her home in Florida.
With songs like “Last Dance,” “Love to Love You Baby,” “Bad Girls” and “MacArthur Park,” Summer transformed the musical landscape of the 1970’s, producing hit after hit and giving a face and a voice to a musical form that came to be known as disco.
