Nene Leakes is being sued by the wife of her boyfriend, Nyonisela Sioh, for allegedly stealing her man. TMZ obtained a copy of Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh‘s lawsuit, which claims the former reality star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” began sleeping with Sioh while he was still married to her.
Leakes began dating the Liberian businessman three months after the passing of her late husband, Gregg Leakes. The actress and host confirmed their relationship by sharing Instagram photos of the couple in December 2021.
Malomine claims she was humiliated when Leakes flaunted their relationship online by posting photos with her husband. She said she’s suffered emotional distress, mental anguish and loss of affection. According to the outlet, Malomine lives in North Carolina and is seeking a payout of over $100,000. Most states don’t allow these types of lawsuits, but North Carolina is one of seven states that allows an individual to sue their spouse’s extramarital partner for “alienation of affection.”
Leakes has yet to publicly address the lawsuit but as of Thursday, June 2, all of her Instagram photos with Sioh have been removed. It’s unclear if she knew he was married when they began dating.
Leakes voluntarily left “RHOA” in 2020, but she’s no stranger to lawsuits. In May, the reality star sued Bravo, Andy Cohen and the company’s production staff behind the beloved series for reports of discrimination and allegedly creating a toxic work environment. TMZ obtained a copy of the lawsuit that states that Zolciak-Biermann made racially offensive comments about Leakes and her co-star Kandi Burruss. It also claims that Leakes reported the alleged racism for years to executives and producers, who did nothing but offer Zolciak-Biermann a spinoff series.
She insists she was “blacklisted” for speaking up and hopes this lawsuit will specifically help end the discrimination against Black women.
“It’s just more than that. It’s discrimination,” Leakes told the outlet. “Yes, I’ve been blacklisted when you haven’t worked in three years. When all of a sudden you’re working and sought after, and suddenly you’re not working, it’s being blacklisted.”
