Nick Cannon can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to his ever-growing family being the focus of internet fodder.
The multi-hyphenate talent found himself the talk of social media, yet again, when a photo of him and Alyssa Scott, the mother to his late son Zen, adoringly hugged up sparked rumors of the duo having another child.
Cannon seeing that his name was a talking point attempted to throw in his own joke by posting a photo of his eldest daughter, Monroe, holding his youngest daughter, Powerful Queen, both with less-than-enthusiastic expressions on their faces. Monroe, who Cannon shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey, was snapped appearing exhausted while Powerful Queen had one eyebrow raised as she looked over her shoulder.
The former daytime talk show host captioned the photo, which was snapped at Six Flags Over Georgia during a birthday celebration for Monroe and her twin brother Moroccan, “The look my daughter’s give when they hear people gossiping about their daddy again.”
But as far as fans and critics, are concerned, the expressions should be plastered on the children’s faces at this point. “It must be a perpetual look,” commented one person.
“Well their daddy with all his baby mommas give us something to talk about”
“Nah that’s their look every time they meet a new sibling.”
“It’s probably the look when they hear you have another child on the way,” wrote others.
Cannon currently has seven children — twins Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah Carey; Golden Sagon and Powerful Queen with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion with DJ Abby De La Rosa and Zen with Alyssa Scott. The “Wild ‘N Out” creator is also expecting a child with former “Wild ‘N Out” model Bre Tiesi. With each addition to his family, Cannon has been the target of criticism, concern and, more times than not, jokes. The soon-to-be-father of eight even incorporated several conversations and punch lines about his children and “vortex” of fertility on his short-lived talk show, “The Nick Cannon Show.”
While there is an overwhelming supply of opinions of Cannon’s personal life, more than a few fans kept things short and sweet when commenting on the actor’s recent photo.
“One thing for sure! This man makes BEAUTIFUL children.”
