Jada Pinkett Smith stepped into Tiger Woods‘ golf world to spend some time on the green with the professional player and the two ended up bonding over their special relationships with their daughters.
The duo caught up with one another on Feb. 22, the day before Woods’ serious car accident which sent him to emergency surgery for “significant orthopedic injuries to his right lower extremity.” In the Golf Digest video, the pair played a round at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Versaille, Missouri, while discussing their careers and families.
At one point, their conversation turned to the benefits of being a #girldad, and the subject immediately brought a smile to Woods’ face. The 82-time PGA Tour winner is father to 14-year-old daughter Sam and 12-year-old son Charlie, with ex-wife Elin Nordegren, and Pinkett Smi also has a son and daughter, Jaden, 23, and Willow, 20 with her husband Will Smith.
“What has your daughter taught you?” asked Pinkett at 5:40 to which Woods promptly replied with a big laugh, “I don’t like boys.” He continued to beam and gush over his father-daughter bond with Sam adding, “She’s such like my daddy’s little girl, you know? I love it.”
Having seen the connection that her own daughter Willow has with Will, the “Red Table Talk” host stated, “I feel like every dude should have a daughter.”
“She has taught me how to be more patient, but I don’t ever want her to leave home,” Woods admitted.
The “Set It Off” actress recently bonded with daughter Willow in her own way by shaving her head in solidarity with the young rocker. Willow surprised one of her audiences with an impromptu head shaving, which inspired her mother to follow suit not long after in an effort “to let go.” “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go BUT … my 50’s are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed❣️😜,” she captioned the image in which she debuted her new look.
