‘You Shaking Like a Leaf’: Big Boi Introduced a Zebra to Salt and Vinegar Chips and It Didn’t Go Well

A zebra gave Big Boi a mini heart attack this month, and fans got a nice cackle out of his fear.

The Outkast rapper got up close and personal with a dazzle of zebras during an Aug. 15 outing at what appeared to be a petting zoo he did not name, and he got the fright of his life when he fed them salt-and-vinegar potato chips.

“Zebras Love Salt n Vinegar chips #Saturdaze,” the “ATL” actor captioned his hilarious video.

Once the zebra got a taste of that salty, vinegary goodness and decided it wanted more, it got a little too excited for Sir Lucious Leftfoot’s taste, and he quickly noped right on out of there.

Thousands of guts were busted after social media viewings of Big Boi’s moment of bravery, and clowning quickly commenced in the comments.

“You shaking like a leaf, tighten up 😂🤣,” called out one fan.

“Big dawg could see it biting his hand. We call that common sense people.😂,” another wrote.

“😹😹😹 thought u was animal man,” laughed a third.

“Like u told old boy on atl…U ain’t scared of zebras is ya?!!!..dropn more food on the ground than in his mouth ..ya costn me money 😂😂😂,” a fourth fan roasted.

“😂😂😂😂 I seen your heart rate increase when his teeth touched your hand😂😂😂,” kidded a fifth.

The animal lover already owns owls, cats, dogs, but it looks like he won’t be adding zebras to his menagerie anytime soon.

Big Boi has been doing his best to keep busy while the United States continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s been putting the finishing touches on his upcoming joint album, “The Big Sleepover” with longtime friend and collaborator Sleepy Brown.

“Everything is finished, but we’re waiting on a lighter time to release it,” he told the AJC of the album’s progress back in May. “That album is more recreational party vibe and right now the time is so serious. The CeeLo song [“Intentions,” released last fall] was the appetizer; that was the shrimp scampi. But everybody is still recording and doing pre-production work.”
