Megan Thee Stallion received quite the gift from her new bestie Cardi B in celebration of the success of their joint single “WAP.”
The record-breaking single debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts after being released Aug. 7. It was streamed over 93 million times in the United States during its first week, the most of any track for the time span.
In honor of the huge achievement, Cardi sent the Hot Girl an orange Hermès Birkin bag customized with art of Meg in her tiger-striped look from their music video, along with a white tiger on one side. The other side is all about Meg’s hometown, Houston, with the city’s iconic “Be Someone” graffiti art painted over the skyline.
Meg was genuinely surprised and thankful for the extremely thoughtful gift. “My manager just walked in and said cardi sent you something 😭😭😭😭 not the birkinnnnnnnn 😭😭😭,” she wrote in her post caption. “Thank you frennn omg I can’t believe you 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 I wonder what I’m gonna get her 😈😈😈 @iamcardib.”
Birkin bags range in price from $12,000 to over $200,000, so Cardi definitely dropped some serious coin on her girl to show her appreciation.
Fans loved the amount of detail put into the present and commended the ladies for continuing to support each other.
