‘You Have Changed’: Kandi Burruss Fans Blast Her for Not Calling Out Kenya Moore on ‘Starting Drama’

It seems followers and fans of Kandi Burruss aren’t here for her playing for “team” Kenya Moore.

Burruss, Moore and Cynthia Bailey developed a tight-knit friendship on this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Viewers, however, feel the Xscape singer’s new friendship might be clouding her judgment toward Moore’s “messy” ways.

Burruss reviewed “RHOA” Sunday night’s episode on her YouTube channel titled “Speak On It.” She spoke about the tension between Moore and their costar Nene Leakes that occured during the cast’s trip to Greece. Leakes apparently tried to extend the olive branch to her longtime foe Moore after hearing she was divorcing her husband Marc Daly, but the former Miss USA wasn’t having it.

Moore refused to converse with Leakes about her marital woes and walked away from the table. She also thanked all of her cast members except for Leakes for lending their support during her divorce, which a lot of fans felt was rude. Burruss, however, didn’t scold Moore for her actions and seemingly tried to empathize instead.

Burruss also had a few words for Leakes after the former “Apprentice” star shaded her on Andy Cohen‘s “What What Happens Live.” Leakes apparently called her a “fake ass.” Burruss responded, suggesting that Leakes always tries to “play victim.”

A lot of fans felt Burruss was quick to call out Leakes and her other castmates for their actions, but not Moore.

“Sorry Kandi but you have changed since Kenya came back on the show and your loyalty seems to only lie with her. Why?🙄”

“My opinion you should be able to tell your friends the truth you n Cynthia is so afraid of Kenya she gotta have some dark secrets for u guys”

“You really don’t see or hear any of the terrible things Kenya do and say to people? Mark knew what kind of woman he had which is why he treated her as such. You are very quick to call Nene out and say not so nice things about her, but yet you pacify Kenya in all her WRONG DOING.

“It’s great that you’re a friend to Kenya and you have her back, but can you admit that given all of the drama she’s stirred up and mess that she’s tried to create with other people’s relationships, that maybe it makes sense that some of the ladies may see what she’s going through as karma? I mean, nobody likes to attack other people’s marriages or relationships like Kenya….🤔”

In the past, Burruss responded to those whom accused her of defending Moore and her supposed wrongful behavior.

“It’s not one person, but it’s a gang of y’all that be saying that I’m just taking up for Kenya. Let me just say this. Kenya does not need anyone to take up for her!” she said in a recent YouTube video of hers. “For one, she is clearly capable of speaking up for herself and standing up for herself. And the other thing, she don’t really give a damn what nobody think anyway. She don’t care if y’all go in on her all day; therefore, she does not need me to take up for her. I’m not taking up for her.”
