With Thanksgiving behind us and the holiday season now officially here, it’s likely that you’ve made your plans for New Year’s Eve. And if that’s the case you’re not alone, because Ciara has done the exact same thing.
On Sunday, the singer announced that she’d be co-hosting “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest” again.
She’ll be hosting the Los Angeles part of the celebration and will take the stage as a performer too. Salt-N-Pepa will also perform on the West Coast telecast.
And Ryan Seacrest will head up the festivities in New York’s Times Square, as he’s been doing that for 15 years now. He’ll also be joined by actress and singer Lucy Hale.
“Hosting ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest’ has become something I look forward to every year and now my friend Lucy Hale and Billy Porter have joined the family, so the party just leveled up!” said Ciara in a statement.
“I am going to be performing my new song ‘Melanin,'” she continued. “So I hope all my melanin kings and queens tune in to rock out with me and the amazing line-up of performers this year.”
And on Instagram Ciara wrote, “Ring in 2020 with ME as I host and perform during the Hollywood Party at @rockineve! See you Dec. 31 at 8/7c on ABC.”
“Will be Watching Mrs. Wilson♥️🔥,” one person wrote in the comments, using the last name of Ciara’s husband Russell Wilson.
“❤️❤️❤️ Yasss!! U betta get those💰💰💰💰💰 Mrs. Wilson,” wrote another.
“Blessed, booked and busy 🙌🏽👏🏼💃❣️,” a third person commented.
“👏🏾Keep leveling up,” a fourth person wrote.
