‘This S–t Fake’: Keyshia Ka’Oir’s Waist Training Video Goes Left After Folks Accuse Her of Surgically Enhancing Her Figure

It looks like social media users have a few questions about Keyshia Ka’Oir‘s curvaceous figure.

The 34-year-old diva is adamant about staying in shape and even owns her own fitness company, Ka’Oir Fitness. She recently came out with a new product to help customers burn fat around their lower bodies and demonstrated on camera how to use the workout gear. She added in her Instagram caption, “Here’s a better look & how u put it on @kaoirfitness #ThighEraser / #ButtLifter.”

Amid demonstration in the clip, Ka’Oir, the wife of rapper Gucci Mane, showed off her tiny waist and shapely figure to apparently show the results of waist training. Fans, however, instantly flooded her post and accused the star of undergoing plastic surgery to achieve her slim physique.

“🤔🧐🙌🏽 girl get outta here you can tell she had work done. She ain’t get her body naturally get outta here”

“So I’m curious is her waist supposed to be natural (non tummy tucked) I’m curious. That don’t look like a natural body”

“Lmao that s–t fake.. this woman has had work done! Y’all believe this ‘trainer’ is going to do all she says if you want to 😂”

Although Ka’Oir never responded to the naysayers, her fans jumped to her defense.

“Whew chile y’all mad! I bought her waist training years ago too & it worked like a charm! 🤷🏽”

“Her eraser worked for me and she’s making a coin haters”

Ka’Oir was extremely instrumental in helping her husband Gucci Mane lose 100 pounds.

During an interview with The Cut in February 2018, she expressed how her love for fitness contributed to her fashion style. She apparently wanted to make sure her petite frame could fit into high-end designer brands.

“I wanted to wear all the designers,” she said. “I don’t want to be classified as this black girl with this big ass. I just want to look good in whatever I put on and what makes me happy.”

Fans have seen the 34-year-old rock some of the most prestigious brands, such as Gucci, Fendi, Dior, Chanel and many others. She did however confess that she in no way fashion or form wears Fashion Nova.

“I don’t wear no Fashion Nova. Go ahead and put that in your notes,” she said. She added that on several occasions she’s declined monetary offers from them to wear their brand.

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
