Tyrese Gibson dropped by “The Wendy Williams Show” on Wednesday to promote his new cop flick “Black and Blue,” and it’s the first time he’s been on Williams’ couch in a while.
It turns out, that he didn’t stay away because he was too busy or didn’t want to come. He kept away after being banned by Williams’ estranged husband Kevin Hunter, which the talk show host explained.
“He hasn’t been here in three or four years,” said Williams during a segment on beauty products. “I’m like, ‘Where have you been?’ He goes, ‘Your husband banned me because he thought I was flirting with you.'”
“Are you serious, Kevin?” she continued. “Attention, Wendy staff, new rules. It’s a new day.”
Williams then brought up Sharina Hudson, the woman who Hunter has been accused of seeing behind her back for a decade. It was also reported that Hudson gave birth to his child in March of this year.
“Who are you flirting with?” asked Williams. And then she made a gesture of a baby bump with her hand.
The talk show host blasting Hunter on her show comes six months after she filed for divorce. She also fired him as the executive producer of her show after the split.
The two got married in 1997 and have a 19-year-old son named Kevin Hunter Jr.
Since the breakup, Williams stated that Hunter has been slow to sign the divorce papers, and when he does they’ll remain friendly in the interest of their son.
“Kevin is very insecure and weak af,” someone wrote on Instagram about the Gibson situation. “He can buy his side chick a house in the same neighborhood but Wendy cant flirt with fine black chocolate on tv? Girl enjoy your divorce.”
“Lmaooo the baby bump she petty ðŸ˜,” another person wrote.
