‘Whoa!’: Angela Simmons and Her Son Blow Fans Away with Identical Features

It’s safe to say Angela Simmons‘ toddler son takes after his mother’s genes.

The 32-year-old mother and her son Sutton Joseph Tennyson flooded social media this week with sweet photos of their weekend. She took to Instagram on Sunday and posted a photo of themselves at the pumpkin patch. In one photo, Simmons smiled big for the camera while her son leaned up against her.

Both were dressed casually in jackets, jeans and sneakers. The “Growing Up Hip Hop” star was completely bare-faced while snapping it up on the ‘Gram with her 3-year-old. She received over 62,000 likes and boasted about her mom duties, writing, “My Best Role in life …. ❤️ #SunDaze”

Baby SJ is Simmons’ only child. She and ex-fiancé Sutton Tennyson, who was killed at age 37 in November 2018, welcomed their son in September 2016. The former couple got engaged seven months before the reality TV star gave birth.

However, Simmons and Tennyson called their wedding off in December 2017 and also called their relationship quits. Simmons claimed they tried to make their relationship work but she eventually grew unhappy.

“I just got to a place where I felt like I wasn’t happy, and I tried, and I tried, and I tried and I wanted it to work because the last thing I wanted to do was not be together with the person I had my child with,” she said during the season 4 premiere of “GUHH.”

Although Simmons and Tennyson clearly had their differences and were dealing with custody drama before he died, Simmons honored him for Father’s Day in June, writing, “Words will never be good enough … Happy Father’s Day !! You are missed 🙏🏽”
