Ashanti became a hot topic this week after fans seemingly noticed something off about her appearance.
The 38-year-old crooner announced on social media Tuesday afternoon that she’ll be performing in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Orlando Ampitheater for the city’s “R&B Only” music event.
Donning a orange T-shirt and high-glam makeup look, Ashanti posted the video announcement to Instagram page and urged fans to get their tickets immediately. She added in her caption, “Orlando!!!! See u this Saturday!!! At the Orlando amphitheater 🙌🏽🌴”
The singer’s post was flooded by followers who gawked over her beauty.

Ashanti’s comment section, however, quickly spiraled out of control when fans accused her of having a “lazy” eye which is often referred to as amblyopia.
“It is me or is her right eye lazy 😕?”

The “Body on Me” singer’s Orlando concert post comes nearly two weeks after she received a mass of backlash about her body after she performed at PrettyLittleThing’s fashion week show on Sept. 9.
Ashanti wore a scanty green fishnet bikini piece from her PLT swimsuit line and was body-shamed by a Twitter user for apparent hyperpigmentation between her inner thighs and her bare butt cheeks. The person posted two pictures of the R&B artist and wrote, “Ashanti 😫😱” and then added, “Don’t come here projecting! im NOT body shaming, I’m referring to that dark spot and outfit choice.”
The star’s supporters claimed the photos of the R&B artist were photoshopped, while others defended her against critics.
“Ya know, Ashanti has a real body so that isn’t the issue,” one fan wrote on Sept 10. “A lot of women struggle with dark inner thighs. … Stop hatin sus 🖕!”
Someone else commented, “So now y’all hating on Ashanti bc her p-ssy has a darker complexion than the rest of her body 🙄. I wish y’all would sit ya tf down”
Ashanti never addressed the criticism nor the photos, but her sexy photo posts have yet to come to a halt.
