‘That Calf Muscle Tho!’: Ciara’s Toned Gam Instantly Steals Attention Away from Hubby Russell Wilson’s Record-Setting Fete

Ciara meant to pump up her husband Russell Wilson in a recent Instagram post, but things took a turn when fans began gassing up her gams instead.

On Instagram Sunday, the “Set” singer celebrated her Seattle Seahawks quarterback spouse for his 12-yard touchdown pass to tight end Will Dissly being the 200th career passing touchdown for the QB. The record makes Wilson the fifth-fastest player to reach 200 career touchdown passes behind retired Miami Dolphins star Dan Marino, Green Bay Packers player Aaron Rodgers, retired Indianapolis Colts star Peyton Manning and former Packers great Brett Favre, according to USA Today.

“Proud of you baby @DangeRussWilson! 200 Touchdowns 🏈. Let’s #GoHawks,” Ciara captioned a boomerang video of her and Wilson, who was decked out in his uniform while CiCi sported a Seahawks jersey and white jeans. As the athlete posed against a wall, his sunglasses-clad wife leaned on his shoulder and popped up one of her legs in the air while going in for a kiss on Wilson’s cheek. But it was the look of the leg the singer was standing on that captured the attention of fans.

“Ok, left calf muscle!! 🤣🤣🤣”

“Even ya calf muscle is perfect lol !!! 💕”

“Cute pic and all but let’s not ignore that near perfect calf muscle‼️”

“That calf muscle tho!”

“Do y’all peep that calf muscle😩🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾”

“Calf muscles on point 🔥🔥😍😍”

The 5-foot-7 star has definitely kept up her physique over the years and hasn’t let having two kids stand in her way of remaining toned. Speaking to W magazine in January, she explained that she was a track runner when she was growing up.

“I used to run track in high school, so I was always an athlete at my core, but it’s sometimes fun when you get on a treadmill and you just sprint for one minute, then pop off,” she explained of her current workout routine. “You push yourself in between breaks to the highest speed you can go to. Spring and hop off, and repeat. You can do it 10 times … But don’t overextend yourself. Be realistic about what is good for your body and you’ll find that rhythm.”

Ciara also spoke to the importance of keeping up an overall healthy lifestyle instead of “trying to play catchup” to lose the extra weight, like she did when she gained 60 pounds after getting pregnant with her first child, son Future Zahir. She gave herself four months to lose the weight and allotted more time for the weight she gained with daughter Princess Sienna three years later.

But Ciara has also said it’s not all about eating small meals and high-intensity treadmill runs.

“I truly believe that self-love is key,” she told Vogue in March. “And my definition of self-love is taking care of myself.”
