It took a day, but if fans’ responses are to be believed, Phaedra Parks’ recent Instagram post is throwing shade at Gizelle Bryant.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum posted a busty photo staring directly into the camera to her Instagram page Monday night. She accompanied it with the caption, “Even if it wasn’t me…. it still wouldn’t be you 💅🏾 📩”
The post appears to be a dig at Bryant’s remarks on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Sunday night. Two hours before Bravo’s nightly talk show aired, Bryant confirmed at “The Real Housewives of Potomac” reunion that she and ex-husband Jamal Bryant have been dating since last year. On “WWHL,” Gizelle told host Cohen that she found it “funny” that her ex was rumored to be Parks’ Mr. Chocolate, who was first brought up in season 8 of “RHOA.”
“He denied it, and I’m cool with that,” says Bryant, who was previously asked about her New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor beau being Mr. Chocolate on “The Breakfast Club” two years ago.
Asked if Jamal and Parks ever dated, Gizelle said her man says “no” but the “RHOP” star claims the former “RHOA” cast member “said yes to her friends.”
“[I] care nothing about Phaedra,” Gizelle added when asked if she’d be upset to learn Parks and Jamal had dated. “She’s not important.”
While Parks has always maintained she and Mr. Chocolate — whoever he is — were never a thing despite ex-husband Apollo Nida spreading the rumor, her new Instagram post seems to be the most recent response to the matter.
Fans who caught Parks’ apparent dig lapped it up.

However, considering Pastor Bryant has reunited with Gizelle, who noted she is “enjoying the pursuit,” not everyone was sold that Parks’ shade was effective.

While the Bryants are rekindling an old thang, Parks is moving on with rumored boyfriend “The Haves and Have Nots” actor Medina Islam. The two are said to be mulling getting more serious and will reportedly sort through their issues with getting to that stage on the new season of “Marriage Boot Camp.”
