Ashanti is heating up social media with super sexy photos that put her hourglass figure on display.
The “Body On Me” singer showed her five million Instagram followers this week that she’s still bad to the bone despite what her naysayers may think. She took to Instagram on Sunday and posted multiple pictures of herself spending the weekend in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. She hosted the Lil’ Red Dress Affair, which took place at Suite Lounge on Saturday, August 31.
She attended the event in a form-fitting red dress designed by Stephen Goudeau and open-toe gold stilettos. She accessorized her look with monocle sunglasses, gold bangles and $425 Chanel stud earrings retailing for $425. The “Good Good” singer wore her hair bone straight with a centered part and opted for a stunning makeup look, including a vivid red lipstick that matched her dress.
She wrote in her photo captions “Lil red joint… 💋” and “Cherry cola 🍒”
Ashanti drummed up over 147,000 likes and over 1,900 comments on her photos.

The Lil’ Red Dress event Ashanti hosted this weekend also featured a flyer debuting her “Pretty Little Thing” song featuring reggae artist Afro B.
She’s been promoting her swimwear collection that was released July 1 in collaboration with online boutique PrettyLittleThing. The collection features 74 different swimwear pieces, ranging from sizes 6 to 26, catering to a multitude of different women.
“This collection is for everyone!” the Grammy-winning singer told BET during an interview in late June. “The confident girl, the sassy girl, the classy girl, the sexy girl, the turn up girl….the girl that doesn’t follow the crowd but stands out in the crowd.”
The 38-year-old singer’s swimsuit line was created by her sister Shia Douglas, 30, who served as the creative director. The line was inspired by Ashanti’s tropical vacations to various locations.
“I travel around the world to so many tropical places,” Ashanti said. “I wanted pieces that felt exotic and global. The Amazon meets the Carribean. I wanted pieces that would empower women.”
