‘Hell to the Naw!’: Fans Throw Shade at Shereé Whitfield Apparently Declining Invite to Return for ‘RHOA’ Season 12

Rumor has it that former peach-holding star Shereé Whitfield was in talks to rejoin “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for the upcoming season. However, the star apparently turned it down, and now fans are sounding off.

Whitfield, who originally joined the long-running Bravo reality show when it premiered in 2008, was allegedly in discussions with the network to come back after sitting out season 11. However, an “RHOA” fan Twitter account said she declined the offer she was given.

“As An ‘OG’ She Felt She Deserved More,” the account @SipWithRHOA tweeted Saturday, July 20.

It’s not clear what the offer was — whether Whitfield was offered a spot as a full-time housewife or to simply become a friend of the show in a lesser role — but regardless, time or money was apparently not up to par for the She by Shereé designer.

Upon hearing that speculation, fans sounded off and largely bashed the former “RHOA” cast member for her apparent dissatisfaction with the offer.

“Hell to the naw!!”

“How is NO check better ‘A Check’🧐”

Those joggers must be selling.”

However, others felt the star was right for sticking to her guns.

“I don’t blame Sheree and good for her sticking to her value. OGs deserve a special rate. Sheree, Kim, DeShawn, Lisa and Nene paved the way so the rest of the #RHOA🍑 wives have a seat at the table. Bravo needs to recognize and value that.”

“They still only tryna offer her a friend role! I miss her!!! Idc idc, her and Kenya little beef was comedy.”

“She has that right. OGs deserve everything. Sorry not sorry.”

Whitfield is one of only a handful of stars who were on “RHOA” from the outset. The star stayed on board through season 4, telling Wetpaint.com she elected to leave ahead of season 5 because she was “tired of the fighting and the cattiness.”

“I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy but to treat themselves with respect,” she said at the time. “I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I’m thrilled to say I’m now a free agent and am already fielding offers.”

Whitfield made her return to the program as a friend of the show in season 8 and became a full-time peach holder by season 9. But her comeback was short-lived. Whitfield left again after season 10 after allegedly being fired, which she denied.
