Kandi Burruss recently joined husband Todd Tucker for his talk at Clark Atlanta University, and the photos the spouses snapped together had fans thinking Riley Burruss had joined her stepdad on his work instead of Burruss.
“Today my hubby @todd167 & I stopped by #ClarkAtlantaUniversity to talk to the students,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star explained on Instagram March 27. “Todd was there to speak about his career in television production & I was supposed to be there just to support but of course I couldn’t help myself & I had to talk too! I met some great people today! #CAU #ShareWhatYouLearn 📸: @morrisde.”
While the moment was meant to be all about Tucker, fans were more focused on how much his wife resembles her 16-year-old daughter.
“Love it! You and Riley are twinning.”
“Omg you and your daughter is definitely twins. I had to take a second look. Lol @kandi.”
“@kandi i thought you was @rileyburruss 😳 y’all look sooooo much alike! 🤗😘”
“You and Riley are TWINS.”
“Your daughter looks so much like you! I thought this was Riley!😊”
Yet while Burruss and Riley share the same face, they do not share the same views about expanding the family.
Riley famously told her mom and stepdad how she felt about the singer’s desire to give 3-year-old Ace Wells Tucker a younger sibling.
“I feel fine telling you to leave them in the freezer,” the teen told her mom, who said she doesn’t “feel right” leaving her two female embryos frozen.
When Burruss asked Riley about her desire to have a sister, she shot back, “That was until I saw how y’all were around children.
“When I was younger, you were around 24/7. I didn’t even think you had a job,” she continued on the November “RHOA” episode. “You work too much. … I know I get sad when you just come back for like, a day or two, and then leave back out.”
The issue was brought up again on the most recent episode of “RHOA,” but Burruss isn’t paying her daughter any mind. She has recently disclosed on “Watch What Happens Live” that she has “moved forward” with the surrogate process.
