Ashanti’s Never-Ending Stream of Bikini Pics Slake One Fan’s Thirst, Leave Another Unsatisfied: ‘Where’s the Music?’

Lately, Ashanti‘s Instagram has been full of thirst-trapping photos showing off her physical assets, which some fans surprisingly are growing tired of.

The Grammy Award-winning singer performed last month with Soca artist Machel Montano in Trinidad and Tobago, where Ashanti had ostensibly been snapping all of her seductive photos. Amid partying for Carnival, she shared several images online of herself showing massive skin in revealing bikinis. One of those pictures included her bare derriere all out on social media.

She took to Instagram on Thursday with a photo of herself on Trinidad’s Maracas Beach in a skimpy pink bikini and wrote in her caption “Strawberry Colada🍓.”

Some of the singer’s fans appeared to be over the her racy photo postings and were concerned with her “actual” talents.

“Ok where’s the music?” one fan asked. “We know you look amazing. But its getting old now 🤦🏽‍♂️.”

“Okay Ashanti we get it,” another person added. “You actually have talent how bout u try using it.”

Someone else commented, “U startn irk me 🛫 how many times you gone keep showing yo body 🤔. Where’s the new songs.”

Before 2018 closed out, the “Foolish” singer told Forbes in December that she’s been working on a new album with various artists, including Tory Lanez, Swae, Big Sean and Lil Wayne, “along with a few more surprises.”

“When it comes to my music, I cannot wait for people to hear my new project. Metro Boomin and I are putting something special together,” she said.

Ashanti also said fans can expect her to musically step out of the box in the R&B genre.

“The new music, I’m saying things that I haven’t said before and I probably wouldn’t. But I think it’s important to be just honest, transparent, [and] vulnerable at times and just be real,” she told iHeart radio in March 2018.

She continued, “There’ve been times where I may not have put music out, but it doesn’t mean I wasn’t in the studio creating. It’s always a really safe place for me. I feel like I get energy, and I feel like it’s just a different kind of passion and energy to go in the studio and just record how you feel and put things together.”
