Tommie Lee Showcases Big Chop, and Fans Drag Her: ‘You Baldheaded’

Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee recently showed off her real hair on social media after cutting the majority of it off, and fans can’t stop clowning her.

The reality star is starting a new “hair growth challenge” with hair care line Hairfinity. She told fans in a video she uploaded to Instagram on Friday, that she was going to use only Hairfinity products on her hair for the next three months, then reveal the results.

“I’m going to be doing a hair growth challenge to see how long I can grow my hair in 90 days,” Lee wrote in her caption. “I also won’t be using any heat. I will deep condition each week and oil my scalp each night. … So excited to see the results. #Hairfinity #hairchallenge.”

Lee said she’ll be using the company’s shampoo, conditioner and botanical nourishing oil to help with her hair growth. In the video she uploaded, Lee debuted her newly chopped hair after cutting it “all off.” She admitted to suffering from severe hair damage after “going blond.”

However, observers weren’t really impressed with her big chop. Some people pointed out the star’s “split ends,” while others accused her of having bald spots

“You baldheaded 🤣,” one commenter said. “Sis shouldnt of showed us this 😶.”

Another roasted Lee by saying, “Im supposed to trust hair products review when i cant trust how ur hair wet yet face beat to the gawds 😆😆😆😆 i wasn’t ready for the turn around 🤣🤣.”

A third added, “No you didn’t u took out weave and ur hair even with a relaxer 😭😭I’m cryin!”

One fan jumped to Lee’s defense and wrote, “Ya’ll talking about Tommie’s hair and half ya’ll baldheaded.”

Lee has been dealing with criticism more than usual lately since the news of her child cruelty case made headlines.

The star was indicted on multiple child abuse charges in January, including aggravated assault, child cruelty, battery, aggravated stalking and disrupting a public school. Three of the charges are felonies and the other four are misdemeanors, but if she’s convicted of all of them she could be looking at 54 years behind bars.

The indictments follow Lee’s arrest in October 2018 for allegedly slamming her daughter’s head into a locker and grabbing the child by her hair. Cobb County police charged her with felony aggravated assault, battery and child cruelty.

Lee seemingly has denied all the allegations.
