Why Steve Harvey Says Everyone Should Fly First Class

Steve Harvey is giving a lesson on how success and exposure have to be sought out and earned.

During his online segment, “Motivated,” the talk show host explained his millennial children can’t seem to understand how his grind led him to earn his multi-million dollar fortune.

“You can’t just go make money ’cause you got f—ing Google,” he explains of looking up the definition of “success” and “exposure” between filming his talk show “Steve” in the Monday, Nov. 12 clip. “You ever notice when you get on an airplane and walk past first class, everybody in first class got gray hair … They all 50 and up, especially during the week. Them businessmen. They earned the right. You go in the back, it’s young people back there. You back there …

“You got to be exposed to get to first class, you go to be successful to get to first class,” he continues. “That’s why they close that curtain. See, they can’t have yo ass in the back of that plane with that curtain open. You ain’t gon’ believe what’s going on up there.”

Harvey goes on to list the luxuries of upgrading to premium airline seating including abundant beverages, free headsets, hot towels and unlimited free movies.

“They gotta close that curtain,” he says. “If you was in the back and they left that curtain open, you’ll drive them people crazy. … So what you have to do, you have to expose yourself to things early in life.”

The 61-year-old suggests young folks ask how much more it is to upgrade to first class from coach and go ahead and pay the extra $75 once.

“Once you sit in that first class seat, you have now been exposed,” he says. “The game changes now. … Once you fly first class, it conditions your mind to look and think for first-class opportunities.”

Folks who caught the message shared how much it moved them.

“Steve you’re a very wise man you motivate me daily with your words.”

“He completely right. I flew first class with Spirit and holy crap. So much different than coach. That extra $25 was worth it…lol.”

“I seen this speech before but I will watch it again because that’s how much I love Steve! I can have him on repeat.”
