‘Power’ Star Naturi Naughton Sets Internet Ablaze by Posting Photo with On-Screen Rival

Naturi Naughton may have just given fans a reason to believe her on-screen splintering with Lala Anthony’s character on “Power” may not be permanent.

The actress on Friday uploaded an Instagram photo posing alongside the former MTV VJ.

“Are they friends again??? That is the question… 🤔 #TashaAndLakeisha #powertv #setlife #season6 Fabulous hair by @takishahair & gorgeous makeup @makeupbyanitagibson ❤️ #TashaGlam photo cred: @josephsikora4 😜,” Naughton captioned the Oct. 5 post.

The ladies were likely between takes on the set of their hit Starz series, shooting season 6 just a month after the shocking season 5 finale aired. Anthony’s character, LaKeisha Grant found herself almost shot by Tommy Egan on the orders of Naughton’s Tasha St. Patrick, who is supposed to be her friend.

But is it possible that the fictional duo could bury the hatchet next season, fans have eagerly begun weighing in.

“Nah f— being friends, Tasha is a gangster and Lakeisha is a wenkster. If Tommy wants a ride or die b—- he need to teach her the street code fuck friends I want war.”

“Nope they are not friends anymore it’s war between St Patrick’s and Tommy & Lakeisha.”

“Girl, Keisha cosign Tommy killing your children’s father.”

“I never thought Keisha would turn against Tasha. However Tasha was pushing a lil too much.”

“Yes please! 😍🙏🏼”

“Better Be!!! Tasha you just have to be a better friend.”

“Friends 4 life ❤️”

“Power” debuted on Starz in 2014 and since the first season, viewers have helped the program break down its own ratings records. Season 4’s finale in 2017 set the bar with 2.8 million viewers despite the final four episodes leaking ahead of schedule. And season 5’s finale on Sunday, Sept. 9 placed the show at the no. 1 spot for premium cable network programs. Around 1.5 million viewers of subscription channels tuned in and viewership had also increased by 5 percent from the show’s premiere.
