Meek Mill had his first interview with “The Breakfast Club” since being released from prison last month, and one of the things he talked about was his past relationship to Nicki Minaj.

He also responded to the “Chun-Li” rapper’s interview with Zane Lowe, where she commented on his probation case.

First, Meek wanted people to know that he’s fine with Nicki despite their abrupt split. He said it’s based on a rule he has that doesn’t allow him to hate anyone that he felt deeply about.

“Look, I ain’t got no problem with her,” he stated. “That’s my whole thing. I was at points where I was a little out of character. I don’t have a problem with someone I used to love and someone I was in a relationship with.”

That’s when the hosts brought up the Zane Lowe interview, where Nicki said Judge Genece E. Brinkley did everything she was supposed to do in the case.

“The judge in question did everything I asked of her, so I can’t bad mouth her,” said Nicki during the sit-down. “Cause I met her personally, and I know what she said to us and [Meek] knows that.”

“I don’t know what she was talking about right there,” said Meek when he was told about what Nicki said. “I wasn’t feeling that. [Nicki] shouldn’t have said nothing, and we leave it at that. When it comes to freedom, I don’t care who it is — this could be Safaree, this could be anybody — if I know something, and that man’s freedom is on the line and I could say something to help the situation, I’m gonna say it. If I don’t say it, I just won’t say nothing.”

During his probation trial, Meek’s lawyer accused Judge Brinkley of suggesting that he remake the song “On Bended Knee” by Boys II Men and give her a shout out on it. So he’s baffled why Nicki praised her, especially when she was there for the alleged request.

“What type of lie is that to make up? Who makes stuff up like that?” Meek asked. “It was actually somebody else there. They said they didn’t want to involve they self in it but she know. She definitely was there.”

After “The Breakfast Club” interview, one person blasted Meek and accused him of blaming Nicki for his legal issues, which she responded to.

“I’m so tired of Black men blaming Black women for their problems,” the person wrote. “Nicki doesn’t owe Meek anything. She simply said that the judge did what she asked of her, which was allow Meek to be on house arrest instead of prison when he violated in 2016. She wrote letters, testified more than once, met with Pres. Obama and the governor to get his case thrown out. On top of riding with him through 3,000 rap beefs.” She don’t owe nothing.”

“God bless,” Nicki replied.

Another person said “I watched the interview. Envy sat there a lied like he always does. What Nicki said… WHEN SHE WAS ASKED, was that it made her cry seeing Meeks mom cry however she’s not going to come on the radio and tad mouth the judge because she spoke to her personally and the judge did everything she asked her to do but she’s not going to be into a legal issue right now. Bare in mind this is the same woman who used her time with the president of the United States to advocate for him and help HIS situation. The same woman who testified to the DA for him the same woman who begged the judged for him. She does not owe him a single thing. When the entire industry was switching on nicki and lies were being spread that he allegedly started he said he played along with it for laughs.

To this comment, Nicki also replied: “God bless you.”
