An unnamed woman has filed a lawsuit against R. Kelly,  accusing the singer of getting her high on drugs and alcohol before infecting her with an STD. According to TMZ, the unnamed woman recorded a private conversation with Kelly attempting to get him to admit to sexual misconduct and abuse.

News of the lawsuit comes in the midst of renewed scrutiny into two decades’ worth of allegations of abuse and sexual misconduct against Kelly.

As of last week, two more women surfaced and claimed the singer began sexual relationships with them during their teen years. A few days ago, the 20-year-old woman filling the lawsuit became the latest to come forward with allegations claiming she was abused while involved with the 51-year-old R&B star at 19 years old.

The young woman also secretly recorded a phone call between herself and the singer purportedly in an attempt to get Kelly to admit the things he’s being accused of. But instead, he turned the tables and blamed her for everything.

“Are you back from where you were in your head?” he asked?  “You know you have to prove that, right? Are you worried about what people think? Just think about the things you do … Your father and mother don’t like me … And I just lectured you all the time to teach you certain things and try to make you a better person, a young adult or whatever … You gotta admit that you never told me nothing.”

The woman then told Kelly that she wasn’t crazy because he did do something wrong to her. However, he only seemed to grow more frustrated and impatient at that point.

“I was looking for you to be humble and say ‘I messed up. I was thinking wrong. I was thinking crazy,'” he told her. “I don’t blame you for acting like that. This is who you are.”

A statement was released after the accusations surfaced, and at the time it appeared that Kelly admitted that he deals with several young women.

“R. Kelly has close friendships with a number of women who are strong, independent, happy, well cared for and free to come and go as they please,” read the statement. “We deny the many dark descriptions put forth by instigators and liars who have their own agenda for seeking profit and fame.”

“All of the women targeted by the current media onslaught are legal adults of sound mind and body with their own free will,” the statement continued. “Law enforcement officials in Atlanta and Chicago previously have made ‘wellness’ visits to check on the women in question and have found nothing to cause alarm.”

R Kelly’s management team denied the letter was authorized, accused a woman named Katie Thompson released it on her own volition, and was reportedly fired as a result.

“The person who released the statement did so without authorization and without talking to the star, and she isn’t an employee of R. Kelly’s management,” said Kelly’s team.

Kelly is now facing threats to his career as the Times Up movement has teamed up with the #MuteRKelly campaign in an effort to force the music industry to cut ties with him.
