A Connecticut woman was arrested for reportedly stealing Pro-Boxer Jermall Charlo bag filled with jewelry and cash. According to New Yor Daily News, the boxer was partying at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Night Club in New York and got into a brawl. One of Charlo’s friends left the Louis Vuitton bag that allegedly contained a $15,000 diamond bracelet, a $75,000 championship ring, a $10,000 Cartier ring and over $40,000 in cash. Surveillance video shows Sarah Morin leaving with the bag.
Morin turned herself in along with the bag and the jewelry but no cash. Her attorney Gerard Marrone claimed that the bag had been passed around a few times before it was in her possession. “One of the bouncers handed the bag to her and she ran for her life. She was the last one that held the bag and that’s why she was arrested,” said Marrone.
Morin was released on her own recognizance.
