An actress and professor at Atlanta’s Spelman College is setting the Twittersphere on fire with her universal advice on relationships. Jael Roberson, known as Jael the Great, issued some advice to her class Tuesday, Oct. 24, putting her motivational speaker and life coach careers to work.
“[If someone] wants to be with you, nothing will keep them from you,” Roberson says in a clip posted by one of her sophomore students. “If someone wants to be in your life, nothing will keep them from being with you. Nothing. So if they can leave you, if they can text you, tell you ‘I’m out,’ let them leave.
“If you gotta cry, do whatever, you do that, but you don’t ever beg,” the instructor continues. “Because whoever is for you — whether it’s a friendship or relationship — they’re going to be there for you. And especially a man. They pursue relentlessly. They were created to hunt.
“So if he wants to be with you, I promise you — y’all see this rock on my hand — nothing will keep him from you.”

@Jaelthegreat thank you for the reassurance, beautiful. #thatROCK symbolizes that he wants YOU, flaws & all. I shall be patient.

And while some disagreed…
I kinda want to agree but at the same time its kinda too belittling to accept something like that 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

Seems a bit gendered, miss me with that “created to” bullshit
