Black Charter Cable Customer in Utter Shock to Find Racist Message in Inbox

A Forth Worth, Texas Charter Spectrum customer is fuming after discovering a racist message sent to her cable inbox on Tuesday.

According to WFAA ABC 8, new customer April Taylor saw the message and was flabbergasted that this type of racism got into her home.

“When I first pulled it up I was like ‘What? what?,’ ” Taylor explains to reporters. “Imagine if your kids were sitting in front of the TV and something racist about their race came across?”

The message said:

“F— Black Lives Matter! 1488 Brought to you by Phreak of Nature Baby J and King Benji! All N—— Must Die!”

The numbers 14 and 88 are white supremacist dog whistles. The number 14 is shorthand for “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”

The number 88 represents “Heil Hitler,” with the two eights signifying the eighth letter in the alphabet.

Charter Spectrum quickly deleted the message, opened an investigation and released a statement to WFAA.

“We are aware that an abhorrent message briefly appeared on some set top boxes.  We apologize profusely to any of our customers who were subjected to it, and we are working to understand the cause.”
