Miguel drew the ire of scores of Black Twitter users last year when, in a Twitter rant, he wrote: “I’m proud of my heritage,” but honestly, black people are the most judgmental people in the world. Sh-t’s sad, man.”
“We’ve been conditioned, pre-programmed to hate ourselves. That’s why I appreciate those who choose to think and act for themselves regardless of ethnicity or culture,” added the Adorn” singer.

KeKe Palmer

When rumors circulated that the actress had a sex tape out in June, Palmer was hurt by the lack of support from her Black fans.

“When we get something going, and when we get something cooking we should be lifting each other up, and holding each other’s hand,” Palmer said.

“And the moment we get one it’s like tearing them down,” she told S2S Magazine. “To come back and see my own people try to take me down like that, it kills my heart because it’s like everything I do, I do for us.”
