Jennifer Eberhardt

Jennifer Eberhardt is a social psychologist “investigating the subtle, complex, largely unconscious yet deeply imagined ways that individuals racially code and categorize people,” according to the MacArthur Foundation site. Her work focuses mainly on connections to race and crime.

She has a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and an A.M and a Ph.D. from Harvard University. From 1995 to 1998, she held a joint faculty position at Yale University in the Departments of Psychology and African and African American Studies and was a research fellow at the Center for Race, Inequality and Politics.
