  1. Alesha P Duncan says:

I am so sick and tired of this shit!!

  2. The coons are going come as say, "but what about black on black crime?"

  3. Patricia Lafayette M Ed says:

Something that EVERY BLACK AND BROWN PERSON KNOWS AND EVERY WHITE PERSON CAN'T SEEM TO CARE ENOUGH TO BELIEVE. Lord, if you only knew how sick and tired we are of your silence and consent to this madness. It is enough really.

  4. It says 2 of them have been indicted one on assault and the other took a plea deal. Should get impersonating a police officer, perjury, damage to property, hit and run, and whatever else they can think up. Maybe this wouldn't happen so often if cops got harsher punishments when they're caught dead to rights on camera like this.

  5. Everyday this happen n no one talk about it when it's time to vote.

  6. Lucene D Simon says:

They see all the brown and black people as black.

  7. They rather talk about gays right! What about blacks right?

  8. Rigo Espinal says:

Lorddread Jahkilha How about all rights… Minority, LGBT, and those incarcerated for harsh drug sentences..

  9. Carrie Rayfield Cabral says:

Isnt one of the cops "brown"? Orlando Trinidad was one of the cops involved. What I see the most of when it comes to abuse is the abusing officers seem to be overweight… bullies. Probably bullies since gradeschool.

  10. Tam Alex says:

I'm white, I see it, I care about it, I believe it, I am sick of it too, and I am NOT silent on the matter. It is madness! Enough is ENOUGH!

  11. Wole Rotimi says:

Truly, only God can save us. And that includs you people who don't believe in him.

  12. Cops are not black people friend. They found that they did nothing wrong are you kidding me?

  13. the little short ones are evil too

  14. Ja'von Brown says:

Rigo Espinal because when it comes to Black peoples' rights NOBODY but US cares about them. Thats why.

  15. Wayne Carter says:

Really??? and this comes as some surprise? Really??

  16. Patricia Lafayette I have to disagree with the your statement about "EVERY WHITE PERSON CAN'T SEEM TO CARE ENOUGH TO BELIEVE". Although it is true most "White" people turn a blind eye to these things while the black community suffers. But as an outspoken advocate on rights of the people whether black, brown, or white I can't say that EVERY WHITE PERSON DOESN'T CARE. I am white and I am constantly harassed and threatened with arrest for standing up for those that are being mistreated by law enforcement no matter what race they are. I go out of my way to videotape, and document any officer I see "Publicly" doing their so called jobs to protect those that are being arrested or involved in a traffic stop. I am a member of Copwatch SWFL, and I dont just do this to protect the rights of the people in our community but to hold everyone accountable for any mistreatment or harm conducted by law enforcement or the person being stopped by law enforcement. So in conclusion, "WHITE PEOPLE DO CARE, JUST SOME MORE THAN OTHERS".

  17. Larry Syid Wright says:

I have not been posting any Brain food lately but the sudden rise of all this right wing police shit is getting out of hand. It 's not a black or white issue it's an issue that will end up coming to a head. We bashed Ted Bundy but he stood his ground. I am still trying to figure out the role of our black leaders. It all comes down to true good cops black and white to start demanding justice against these brutes in blue because when the shit hits the fan the good cops will be caught in the middle of some serious shit. If they do not get a handle on this it will divide the blue. Now matter who you serve you are still black and see the blue Klan hate coming out of them. No man should be subject to the abuse we see everyday from thugs who hide behind a badge that at one time was a symbol of respect. cameras does not lie a choke hols is a choke hold, beating a guy to death with a night stick is no different that killing someone with a baseball bat. I do not and will not understand why so much excessive force is used. A man is dead because he was allegedly selling singles.Rodney King, Amadou Diallo, Sean Bell and the list goes on. The worse thing about it this shit will never stop because these cops get a kick out of kicking people around. They get a kick out of killing. They sit at home talk on the phone about who they are going to fuck up next. The get as much joy out of killing someone than having sex. They made themselves judge, jury and executioner with the courts blessing. I'm still trying to find out how these people can sleep at night. In stead of putting flowers where they were murdered they should put flowers at the station where these dirty cops work.

  18. Mickey MenKauren says:

I saw the interview with this guy. I know I'm gonna go down as a sellout, but as of recent these fascists have been kicking some serious white ass too. Don't get me wrong it's nowhere near as prevalent with whites, but the pigs are working on it. Especially poor whites I mean damn. I've been jacked in past years, rousted, illegally stopped 3 years ago while I was working in STL, it's coming to a total militarized state whether we want to believe it or not. Those drones used overseas are just practice runs for the homeland. Laugh if you want too.

  19. Klara Bess says:

Sobs in tha bible its states certain people are given the authority ,if it is misused it shell b taken from u!

  20. "LAW ENFORCERS" have got it made in the UNITED STATES to a degree. The reason: America is basically a nation that respects the law. It is this "respect" that gives these "weird" police officers the "courage" to commit these despicable acts. Be warned however, the day is coming when the citizen will become fed up with this and all the 'vested' power in a police officer will be of no avail. All HELL is about to happen unless our legislators reel these bad cops in, On the positive side: I SALUTE ALL THE GOOD AND HONORABLE POLICE OFFICERS WE HAVE!!! THANK YOU!!!!

  21. These are not just dumb racist white cops…………..The idiot videotape there criminal behavior!!!

  22. Sometimes I FEAR BLACK COPS EVEN MORE THAN THE WHITE ONES. Why? Because I think these Black Officers are PUPPETS and they fear their superiors who are usually White. Sometimes these Black Officers have to do the "DIRTY WORK".

  23. Mike Forester says:

They have enough nerve to call people from other places terrorist. I laugh at that because they (white people with guns) are the real terrorist.

  24. Tell me again how good police, don't tolerate, bad police?
This video was hidden from the prosecutors and defense attorneys.
Only found because it was from a cruiser of another officer.
No mention of it in ANY of the police reports.
And the Internal Affairs Division of the department found no wrongdoing.

Tell me again how good police, don't tolerate, bad police? BS.

  25. Kathy Ritter says:

the one officer was not white

  26. Tommy Jackson says:

Every arrest these officers have made should be review for this type of bullshit

  27. Dejo Olowu says:

Whenever I see or read reports like this, I just thank God that I exited the US immediately after my studies at Notre Dame. I wouldn't last under this sort of evil system.

  28. Dejo Olowu says:

Whenever I see or read reports like this, I just thank God that I exited the US immediately after my studies at Notre Dame. I wouldn't last under this sort of evil system.

  29. Ajay Crawford says:

No suspension need, they need to do time in prison. serious time like the innocent people they set up.

  30. Mike Forester says:

Kathy Ritter That one officer was a victim of white supremacy.

  31. Shane Lee says:

Stop saying every white person this and that, it's fucking ridiculous!!! Yes, there are HORRIBLE people out there but that goes for all races and creeds. I care about equality, always have and always will. By lumping all "white" people together, or any people for that matter, you're being racist in your own way. People need to stand up for people, and you should NEVER generalize a group of people. This video is disturbing, and sad to watch. Racism (of course) still exists, but it's not always about the "white" people being the culprits. I will never know what it's like to be a black man or woman, nor will I ignore any injustice regardless of skin color, religion, gender, etc. I'm glad that this man has a chance to put a huge problem in America in the spotlight, but it's also about law enforcement abuse of power as it is racism. Please though, don't judge a whole based on others actions.

  32. Shane Lee says:

I own a gun, and am white??? So, I'm a terrorist??? You should never generalize people, it's ignorant. This is equally about authority abusing their power, as it is about racism being alive. Racism however, doesn't always involve "white" people as the culprits. As a white man who firmly believes in equality, it's insulting when I see people toss around the idea that all "white" people are "bad" or something to that effect. It makes you look uneducated, and racist. Equality to all despite race, gender, religion, etc…

  33. Kathy Ritter says:

Shane Lee And it is just as bad as someone saying all Black people are Drug Dealers, or Criminals. Or all Middle eastern people are Muslim Extremist Or all Jews are Cheap, and all Asians eat just rice!!!!

  34. Lucene D Simon says:

Shane Lee Which is very true what you said. You shouldn't judge everyone basically on skin color. The truth still rest that blacks are many times more likely to be imprison than whites. They are many facts underlying why. So many cops do pick on people of color more. The truth is yes it can happen to a white person but its more frequent in the black community.

  35. Shane Lee says:

Lucene D Simon I absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately the black community does deal with things of this nature much more often than white people. I was simply angered to see another person generalize white people as racist, and intolerant to injustices committed against other ethnicities. It gets old real quick, the notion that white people as a whole are hateful. People are hateful, and without unity problems will continue to flourish. It's absurd when racism is discussed and someone feeling racism in their direction then makes a generalized and offensive statement toward another race, such as what Patricia said regarding white people.

  36. Tam Alex says:

Shane Lee I get what you're saying. But as white people, we must understand and support that we have not been through a lifetime of racism. It's everyday, at every turn – snide remarks, snide looks, etc. When was the last time we walked beside someone in a Walmart and they clutched their purse? When was the last time we were walking through a neighborhood by a road, at a stop light, and saw someone auto lock ed all of their doors. We must face reality. It isn't happening to us at the level that it is happening to people of color. It's just the truth, the fact. Lucene is dead on, Google a couple of phrases "stop and frisk" or "statistics on minorities in prison." or "how to teach your black son to deal with cops." I could go on and on. My friend is a wrongfully convicted poor white dude. It happens to all. But we cannot deny that it is predominately people of color. Just look at the stats. I don't apologize for being white. I was born this way. But that doesn't mean I stand by the divisive culture. We can call ourselves "united" but this ain't no Kumbaya fest. This shit is real, and it happens many times, every day, and people are getting killed over it. And we, as white people need to recognize and acknowledge the racial disparities if we are to ever correct the problem. Does that make sense?

  37. Tam Alex says:

Ja'von Brown I care. And agree, there is a HUGE disparity.

  38. Patricia Lafayette M Ed says:

Greetings to all. I will not apologize for my earlier generalization about blacks and whites because it was an intentional statement to represent MY experience through conversation and interaction with people from all races and ethnic backgrounds. I have attended and presented at many multicultural conferences and seminars on diversity. It has never failed to have non-black/brown people stand up and express their shock and dis-belief that this type of behavior happens UNPROVOKED. Treyvon Martin, 17 years old armed with skittles and ice tea had to fight a grown man armed with a gun who was stalking him. His killer walks free because well he MUST have done something. Black teenager recorded the police threatening him with a murder charge if he did not do what they told him which was to set someone else up so they could clear a case. If he had not recorded the event he would have gone to jail for murder. Technology has changed the game in some few cases. It is because we now have video tape and recordings that more non black/brown people are becoming aware of our collective experiences with police and the legal system in GENERAL. I generalize to make a point. I will continue to generalize to make this point because it is good to see that there are WHITE people who are standing up, recognizing the injustice and SPEAKING OUT against institutional racist behavior that targets black and brown people from ALL ethnic backgrounds. Arab, Asian, Native American, Latin American, Mexican, etc. There is something happening to us that (most) WHITE people in general do not or will not recognize as a collective experience for non white people. Most white people think it is the EXCEPTION and not the RULE for unequal treatment of non white people. They do it because it is ALLOWED.

  39. Kojo Amonoo says:

Shane Lee I have to agree with you on your point about generalization ..What you have to understand is that black people and other ethnic groups make those comments based on observations and experiences. The establishments and institutions like the police and courts are racist in their set up..The crux of the matter is, white people like yourself are, essentially, the beneficiaries of this institutionalized racism. Statistically ,you're more likely to be stopped and searched by the police if you're black, or convicted and go to jail for a similar crime a white person will commit, let alone go to jail. That's why black people are over- represented in jails or die at the hands of the police than whites. As a beneficiary of those privileges afforded you as a white person ,one would be hard-pushed to find the few white people who are willing to speak out against the unfairness of the system or repudiate those privileges they collectively enjoy.

  40. Kathy Ritter says:

Mike Forester I beg to differ.. he is just a bad cop, I know there are some of them out there…

  41. Wayne Carter says:

Tam Alex Thanks for understanding! you need to tell two or more friends, preferably people in your legislative and judicial bodies who can make a difference. Please know that it is happening to some white people also (poor and equally disadvantaged). but we are all human and what we are seeing is indignity and inhumane! Peace

  42. Wayne Carter says:

Patricia Lafayette M Ed Thanks!!, this was powerful! i would be interested to see more about your presentations and seminars. Keeping the Faith! Peace!

  43. Shane Lee says:

I never once stated that white people endure the same injustices, and as frequent as black people. I simply stated that you should not generalize people based on the color of their skin, religion, gender, etc. I have been jumped multiple times by groups of black people, and once was extremely assaulted. Has this changed my mentality of others such as black people, absolutely not. Does this mean that due to MY experiences I have the right to say that "most" black people are "thugs" and violent? Absolutely not!!! I stated a very valid point, aimed toward unity and not furthering hate and disparity between races and colors. I am 100% dead on when I state that you shouldn't generalize people, and if you think that's wrong you are clearly uninterested in grasping the point I aimed to make.

  44. Shane Lee says:

Kojo Amonoo I do agree with what you've stated. In regard to the comment you've responded to and the other comments I've posted regarding this thread, I was simply stating that we shouldn't generalize groups of people regardless of our experiences. I've been beaten to a pulp by a group of black men, and for no reason other than to pick my pockets. I've had multiple other incidents with men of another color, but has that ever influenced me to generalize such groups of people in a negative manner? No, absolutely not. I will keep my stance on not judging a whole based on some, and that will not change. I only hope that we (all people) can find a way to unite and progress during and through this worlds injustices, rather than further digress.

  45. Kojo Amonoo says:

Shane Lee But experiences and observations are important, if we are talking about injustices motivated by racism and racists officials, embedded in racist institutions like the police department ..and my point is all races do suffer at the hands of police only that black people suffer more than most ..The day you see a video of a bunch of racist black policemen beating on a white person …then you and I can discuss this matter again.

  46. Patricia Lafayette M Ed says:

Your point was well stated and welcomed. However, please note that history shows us that when "ALL" Americans stand up for or against a certain action or behavior then we can change things…..civil rights, gay marriage, etc. YOU are apparently already standing up so my earlier statement clearly is not aimed towards YOU or anyone else who is already AWARE. It was and is aimed at others who may or may not be aware and are not currently on board with taking a stand for change. Good people are dying and we all must do everything we can to put an end to this madness by saying WE SEE IT….and WE WILL NOT ALLOW IT to go UNCHALLENGED! Stay strong and keep YOUR message and story out there to reach those that will relate to what you have to say. Congrats on the new baby!

  47. Cheryl Robinson says:

I don't know why it automatically assumed that a Black person is lying when they tell how police officers treat them, as tho' it is somehow always our fault it happened. His attorney did not even believe his story so we do not stand a chance, He would have been just another "Black Man" in jail. But we still have to act a certain way in order not be considered hostile, which can happen even if we keep our mouths shut.

  48. Cheryl Robinson says:

  49. Carly Lee says:

Shane Lee A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE JUMPES ON YOU? YOU ARE A LYING ASS RACIST…YOUR BULLSHIT STATEMENT IS PATHETICALLY TYPICAL!!!

  50. Carly Lee says:

What about WHITE ON WHITE CRIME? Eighty six thats 86% of white people are killed by other whites! Look at all of the mass shootings that are committed by whites? Your racist jedhi mind trick has FAILED!

  51. Carly Lee says:

Kathy Ritter Say whatever you want, that one cop is not black either, all we all see is white cops terrorizing non whites, blacks and hispanics. It is known that at least HALF of the white population in ameriKKKa is RACIST! You point out one non white cop? You are so racially typical!

  52. Carly Lee says:

Talking about race threatens white privilege and entitlement. Whites will DIE in order to protect those two white vampires!

  53. Carly Lee says:

You typical whites love to divert….that cop is not black and since you whites consider hispanics as WHITE, that makes him one of YOURS!!!!!!

  54. Shane Lee says:

Carly Lee To say that "HALF of the white population in ameriKKKa is RACIST" is ignorant. Yes, there are racist people out there (of all colors) but to say that 50% of white Americans are racist is absolutely untrue. We need to stop generalizing people, and if you cannot agree upon that I find you furthering disparity between people of alternate colors. I truly wish that when injustices like this happened people would point out the culprits WITHOUT grouping together others of their color, gender, religion, etc. I say unite & love, rather than stereotype & blame…

  55. Shane Lee says:

  56. Shane Lee says:

Carly Lee You are ignorant, fact. I was jumped by literally 5-6 black guys in La Crosse, WI on a Saturday night. I was walking home and in-between a local food coop and a Sara Lee bakery when one guy came around the corner of the factory and hit me right in the face. The last thing I remember is being on my back while a group of black men kicked me until I was out cold. The group dispersed when the workers of that factory came out on a break, thank god. I had my pockets stripped, and they threw my phone on top of the bakery. A worker cleaning the roof found my phone about a week later. When I came to after being beaten I had blood coming out of my ears and my face was bruised, which it later swelled to the point that I looked like a tomato face. I cannot believe that you have the audacity to call me a racist?!?!?! I have been friends to all people of all colors and creeds, and ultimately respect everyone the same regardless of differences. I love all people, of all places and backgrounds!!! The point that I was making with sharing an experience of mine is that we shouldn't generalize people, as that experience has never faulted me into thinking all black people are bad!!! Once again, Carly Lee you are ignorant. I typically refrain from vulgarity and pride myself in being professional and respectful, but fuck you. Fuck you for calling me a "racist" as that's so far from the truth.

  57. We are in a civil war right now between the people and the government, and protest signs are not going to stop the violence against the people. Paying for freedom with taxes only works for so long, the greed in government wants more and wont stop till the people stop them. True freedom requires the loss of blood, right now it's only coming from the people, so don't expect freedom till your ready to take theirs.

  58. Shane Lee You're screaming at the wrong side. We're just tired of it. The main point of this story was how black men are generally handled by the police..Not just white cops but black, Latino, and even Asian cops. This is something the black community has dealt with forever. THANK GOD FOR CELL PHONES AND VIDEO. I have been handled with excessive force by policemen before. I have had 6 cars of policemen to surround me with guns drawn just for driving down the street. I have had policemen stop me ask me why was I buying crack..haha..I'm the most drug free individual you will ever meet..Never smoked a thing in my life. .I was a probation officer for years but I have had cops come up to me blurting accusations. We are taught turn on the lights in the car and hold our hands up during a routine police stop. We are told to announce every move. To say, "my driver's license is in my wallet, can I get it ?" Do you have the same fear ? Were you taught to fear the policemen because you can be shot or falsely accused (planting guns or drugs in your car) ? I'll wait !

  59. Shane Lee says:

S Baptiste Brooks I've had similar situations happen to me, yes. Being young, having a plethora of tattoos, walking around with my old Pit Bull, etc… However I do understand that black men face police injustices regularly, and on a much more consistent basis compared to myself and other white people. I've never argued that, and I agree with what you've stated. There needs to be a change, absolutely! I've tried to make what you've shared known, and will continue to do so. I simply don't appreciate it when people group all white men and women together based on the negative actions of other white people. I don't think that we should generalize anyone based on color, gender, creed, religion, and so on. That's the point that I was making, that we shouldn't fight fire with fire.

  60. Patricia Lafayette M Ed says:

Since my last post we lost Eric Gardner and yesterday in St. Louis we lost Michael Brown. As of today we have no idea why Michael Brown an unarmed teenager was shot and killed by police. Again the police department is asking the angry mob of people who are crying out "to remain calm". The cop who shot and killed unarmed Michael Brown is on "PAID" leave. They plan to conduct an internal investigation while still unable to tell his family why he was fatally shot in the first place. How do you remain calm when someone kills your unarmed child, neighbor, friend? I think he was 17 years old. SEVENTEEN. BLACK. DEAD. We allow this. Remain calm nothing to see here.

  61. Eebz Lokey says:

Shane Lee SHUT THE FUCK UP MAKING ALL THESE FUCKING EXCUSES LIKE THE WEAK SILLY RACE OF POEPLE U ARE !!! TRY NOT TO TOUCH MY FAMILY BECAUSE I DONT HAVE NO MERCY OR PITY FOR WHITES I WOULD MOST DEF KILL U AND UR BLOODLINE IF U DO US WRONG WE ARE TIRED OF U AND UR KINE FUCKING TIRED!!

  62. Shane Lee says:

Eebz Lokey LMAO you are far too uneducated and ignorant to hold a discussion with me. I'm not making excuses for wrong and ugly behavior, I'm simply stating that you shouldn't generalize people based on ones skin color. Why you threatened me, I have no fucking clue. Why would I touch your family in the first place? Also, calling me weak when you've posted a very weak and intolerant display of words only shows the spinelessness and immaturity of yourself. You would kill me huh? Why would you state that you are going to take my daughters father away from her? How would one go about explaining that to my little girl? If you were to kill me based on the color of my skin, should my baby generalize all black people as killers and murderers? Would your fellow black men and women want that to then label their race, your ugliness?

People like you make me sick. I've done one thing on this article, and many others, which is to remind people that people of all colors and variables must unite and promote peace and unity in hopes to extinguish racism and other forms of hate in this world. I am a peaceful person, yet some such as yourself aim to further the divide. You have no reason to respond to this, as you've already illustrated your definition. I'll pray for you.

  63. Xpoon Diggy says:

Shane Lee Shane Lee & yet youre whole argument reply is basically about defending your race…thats all you're discussing…the initial complaint about police brutality to people of color isnt a concern of yours at all…youre full of crap

your "by the way, i'm kinda tired of it too…but dont judge us whites, thats what i'm REALLY concerned about here" reply… then back to your race defending bullshit…you care nothing about what she said…youre dismissive & unsympathetic view of the actual topic is very clear.

SHE IS RIGHT..no one said "ALL white people" but YOU…Are you saying that her statement is WRONG & there's this strong movement of whites (like you, lol) who speak up & care about the current police killing & brutality of people of color lately? where? definately not you, youre more concerned with defending your race than you are at discussing the injustices of the initial concern here…which is police brutality on people of color…and all your "color, gender, religion, aka blanket statement generalizing crap means nothing…we're talking about a specific issue here…stop being typical & realize that people are fed up with this issue without you fanning the flames with your "us vs you" mentality….everything you said about any real injustice was so watered down & vague that I have no idea what you actually care about other than defending whites…you speak up for nothing, youre only here to defend the white race..that is VERY CLEAR..

  64. Xpoon Diggy says:

Shane Lee here you are again, blanket statement race defending…its like youre combing through the comments looking to argue about defending the white race while falsely acting like you care anything about the original topic

funny how these are the only statement types that you respond to..your purpose here is very clear

  65. Shane Lee says:

Xpoon Diggy, my purpose is to promote unity and not disparity? Yes, I'll defend myself as a white man who promotes love and not violence. I'm also the same guy who gets upset when people stereotype your race!!! Give me a break, I can't believe how ignorant some of you are to come at me with such bullshit when I'm clearly stating that you shouldn't judge ANYONE based on their skin color, gender, religion, etc. Anyone that knows me, knows what I'm about. Anyone that can read and process what I'm saying can also see that I'm making very valid, unifying statements that are not acknowledged by people such as yourself…

You have no idea as to how many times I've stuck up for other people, whether they are being discriminated against because they are a different color or because they have a vagina or are Muslim.

I speak love, y'all speak hate. It's that simple, stop trying to make my comments into something that they aren't. I'm done addressing these ridiculous responses, all I have to say is judge someone based on their actions and not their suits. Conversation over violence, and progression over decline.

  66. Shane Lee says:

Xpoon Diggy, you're so far from the truth. If you saw my actual FB page you would see that I stick up for a lot of injustices. I never replied to thread posts in this fashion until as of late, because I was sick of sticking up for people while their fellow men and women of color were bashing me. Yes, generalizing white people is bashing me and my family. It's frustrating to be so adamantly for unity and justice when you see others saying "fuck white people" or "white people just don't get it" and the list goes on. This isn't about white people!!! It's about people in power using their power to hurt others, it's about the specific individuals who are hurting the innocent or our nation. I also get sick of people saying "kill cops" or "all cops are bad" because that's also generalizing.

Patricia stated that "EVERY WHITE PERSON CAN'T SEEM TO CARE ENOUGH TO BELIEVE."

So, when I was voicing my distaste and anger in regard to the Eric Garner situation (among many others) did I not care? Was I not using my voice in the hopes of educating others on the fact that this man was murdered, and that there needs to be justice?

I know where I stand, and it's for people. I stand for unity, regardless of your genetic makeup or philosophy. I will continue to stick up for others, and myself when I feel the need. I'm done responding to the comments that many of you have left though, as you see me as someone that I'm not. You choose to disregard my overall view, that we are all God's children and that unity with progression is what's most important.

  67. Xpoon Diggy says:

Shane Lee just like your other comments, just a bunch of vague nonsense while defending your race against what you perceive as "ignorant"

that's why this type of comment is the only one that you're replying to…youve not spoken about this injustice in ANY of your comments…surprise surprise…you act like some people shouldn't feel anger..& instead of commenting on the act itself, your whole focus in all of your comments isn't about the injustice, its about defending your race like you don't understand where the anger comes from or why some blacks feel that way…I'm not interested in your blanket statement lies about who you want me to believe you stuck up for & defend…what do you want? an internet cookie?

looking at your profile pretty much confirms what you're all about…stop trying to use this tragedy as a platform for attacking one race while defending your own…it's stooping pretty low…total scumbag move

Wow. Just fucking wow. I wonder if a camera were present during the Michael Brown lynching, what would it reveal?

  69. The cops don't get punished and it starts horrible things Can't they hold one policeman accountable for their actions ,When they don't punished The gang members go wild with the officers!

  70. the TRULY SAD PART IS his BLACK lawyer initialy & AUTOMATICALLY (being a TRAINED HOUSE NEGRO PUPPET for the gov't) didn't believe his story!

If you think police lives are any more or less valuable than anyone else's you are the problem… We need less hero worship and more compassion. Cops are not heroes just because they are cops. Just like Soldiers are not heroes just because they wear a uniform… There are cops who abuse the public trust and deserve to be called out and prosecuted for it. And there are soldiers who commit war crimes and deserve the same. And good cops and good soldiers should be the FIRST to condemn those who use their job as an excuse to abuse others… But they never are. Never. And you can't even count this as one time because no from this department looks like they were doing their jobs. Where are the good cops standing up for the law? even their internal review got it wrong. They should go back and do a deep integration of this whole police department. I mean every arrest.

Shane Lee Let me be clear. It's not all white people. it's the police and white people who have the police do their dirty work. Let me introduce you to Tim Wise. He might help you understand a few things. I know and I appreciate his take on things and his thoughtful words… The killing of the two officers in NYC is a terrible, horrible crime. AND, here's the thing: If you treat communities like you are an occupying army don't be surprised when folks assume you have declared war on them. And then don't be shocked when some decide to declare war back. Doesn't make it right, but it's damned sure predictable. So long as the NYPD continues to excuse every act of violence done by their members, and so long as they act as though they are above criticism, the war will likely continue, which is tragic for everyone on all sides of it. But unlike the cops, who can't and won't express real remorse for anyone they kill, we who protest them do express remorse for those officers who are killed. That's the difference between us, and it matters. And so long as black people are expected to express remorse for murdered officers who they did not personally kill, while officers are free to say they have no remorse for the black people they kill — and they would "do it again" — white supremacy remains in full effect.

  75. Xpoon Diggy Actually she did say "Something that EVERY BLACK AND BROWN PERSON KNOWS AND EVERY WHITE PERSON CAN'T SEEM TO CARE ENOUGH TO BELIEVE." Now maybe I'm racist or a troll by thinking this way. But that part stuck out to me as well and it stung a little. To tell you the truth I could care less about the guy in this story, I don't like people in general. I actually hate far more white people than any other race because I've known more white people. Does that make me a racist or a reverse racist? I get a little frustrated when people non chalantly group me with others the same as black people don't want to be called a thug because their wearing baggy pants or a hat sideways. Somebody commented on here somewhere that when we walk through walmart people don't clutch their purses. I have to disagree. I have tats and piercings & I let my facial hair go untamed. Trust me nobody is flashing smiles towards me at stores. I don't know what Shanes agenda is or anybody else on here for that matter. But I sure as hell am not on anybodys side other than a corrupt cop should be off the streets. Thats the reason I came here to comment anyways. Good day to you sir.

  76. This is more prevalent than people realize.

  77. There's a lot of bad police out here. I've been in their cross hairs.

  78. Shane Lee says:

Frank Higginbotham Honestly, I'm just sick of everyone labeling groups as one. The reason why I began replying to comments on this page is because I was (on My FB page, in everyday conversation, etc) standing up for black men and woman, stating that there is a real issue in today's world with how people of color are treated. The primary problem that I see is in regard to how people (unfortunately and generally black) are treated/murdered by cops. So, to see so many people saying negative things about white people in general eventually fueled an anger inside of me. I was upset to see people saying that I (because of my skin color) should be killed, will never understand, am part of the problem, etc while I'm actively sticking up for men and women of color was to say the least frustrating. I've had my fair share of incidents (NOT perpetuated by me) with men of color (including violently being attached) but would NEVER resort to judging black people as a whole based on a few bad apples. I am also disgusted with the amount of people who are praising and celebrating the recent murders of police officers. So, after being told countless times that my voice doesn't matter (because I'm white), that I'm evil (because I'm white), that I should die (because I'm white), etc it got to the point where I questioned why I still cared? Thankfully, I haven't stopped caring and I'll continue to say YES changes NEED to take place. Regardless of skin color, gender, religion, etc LIVES MATTER. It's just sad that because I'm not stating what everyone thinks I should be saying my comments are somehow racist (fucking ridiculous) and I'm ignoring the real issue. No, I'm not ignoring the issue I just decided to take a step back (momentarily) from the issue to remind people that we need to work together and we must stop generalizing people. I simply tried to state that love conquers much more than hate. I wish that my words were not over analyzed, but instead understood for the simple meaning of equality for all that I preach.

  79. Frank Higginbotham says:

Stunning and when you consider the fact that internal affairs investigated this case and found No wrong doing by these officers. Luckily for this man a third police officers dash board camera showed what really happen. Other wise this man would be in prison. What some people fail to see is that this is not special to us. This can go down at any moment. And even when facing the judge with proof of their guilt. They did not do it and look shocked to be there. I hope the judge throws the book at them. And the internal affairs offices who clearly can't do their jobs and should be fired as well.

Lorddread Jahkilha Please explain what you're talking about? Are you trying to scapegoat LGBT people for being a distraction from black problems? Please explain because I don't want to come away with the impression that everyone I've ever met named "Lorddread Jahkilha" was out of their fucking minds.

  83. Stephen Comfort-Mason says:

Not "stunning" at all when you realize the primary operating premise of most police departments is that the "enemy" is the public.

    Fuck "Serve and Protect".

  84. Scott Patterson says:

I wish us white people had as much rights as the blacks do we are put down by blacks all the time I encourage all white people to stand up for there rites quit letting the blacks man repressed us we need to March and riot every time a black person hurts us

  85. Scott Patterson says:

Not even true you never here us rioting when a black police officers shoot unarmed white people the truth is black people have way more rights than white people do white people are mistreated so bad by blacks it's a disgrace black people murdering white people every day and we can't say a word because you black people have taken away all our civil rights I'm sick of this shit

  86. Scott Patterson says:

Just goes to show all blacks are racist to the white man when blacks have all the rights white people have had there civil rights stolen by the black man total bullshit they scream the race card every time they murdered and rape and still from children woman and elderly people oh ya I forgot I'm a fat Ass can't breathe I can't breathe give me a fucking break

  87. Patricia Lafayette M Ed says:

Jamie Stanley as you state that your tats, style of dress, piercing and hair growth at times make people stare in an unwelcoming way….you just prove my point that you really do not get it. It is not your fault that you can not imagine what it is like to be snubbed and condemned not for a fashion/style choice but just the color of your skin. I could be wearing a Vera Wang gown and Jimmy Choo shoes and still be shot and killed during a routine traffic stop. THAT my brother is what White people find so hard to believe. That is why White people still think….well she must have done something to have that happen to her. But even if you had facial implants to add horns in the middle of your head…you would still be White and still more welcomed than me. If we walked into the department store at the same time the security guard is TRAINED that he should follow me….YOU might be a rock star! I am Black and therefore most likely to be a thief. When you are White you are afforded the privilege to express yourself in any way that you choose. But if I dressed as you do…..what do you think would happen to me? How would I be seen? Scary, threatening, dangerous not expressive, creative, bold, daring. I would be lucky not to be shot on sight cause the police would get a dozen calls until something was done to get rid of me. White people would become "uncomfortable" and that would not be tolerated from me. It is completely tolerated from you….you might get roughed up here and there but YOU would not be shot down like a non-human being.

  88. Charlie Brown says:

And an 18 wheeler couldn't have been passing at that time….. to run all 3 of these PIGS down, 8D.

  89. Scott Patterson says:

While people have no rights only black people do blacks get everything handed to them when white people don't get shit white people have no civil rights black people murdering raping they are fucking lazy stupid crack heads and the white people have to fill sorry for them while the white man has to suffer I'm sick of black people getting everything they have all the civil rights while white people are mistreated and sopressed

  90. Patricia Lafayette M Ed says:

I can see that you are just begging for attention. There it is…..this is all that you get. Now grow up and learn to read and write like an adult so maybe you can engage in adult conversations with substance and facts.

  91. Patricia Lafayette M Ed I can't argue with that. But I have to say if I didn't have a nice car and I drove down to my old neighborhood in a beater cops would think I'm bying crack. And I could get my ass kicked by black folks for being white in the wrong neighborhood. Doesn't some of this go both ways? I went to a 99% black school on the East side of Cleveland. What do you think happened to me on May 1st every year? I got the shit kicked out of me thats what. I don't condone this kind of behavior from police. But lets not pretend that everybody is innocent either. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  92. ACe Peppa-Skul says:

Why aren't you commenting on the video? If you're gonna TROLL, at least be less obvious and belligerent.

  93. I'm glad nobody paid you any attention

  94. Kathy Ritter They are all bad cops if they can be investigated by internal affairs and no wrong doing be found on the cops part…. stop trying to defend the system.

  95. Shane Lee i agree with your premises…TOO BAD WE (as Black people) can't get the SAME reciprocation (as in not being judged as a whole for the antics of a FEW)

  96. Peter Dimitriades says:

Scott Patterson, functional illiteracy is a big problem in one Morton, Washington neighborhood!

  97. Keegan James says:

So now as in many other cases,, do you people see the Cops are ordinary people who Fucks with who ever they want whenever they want..God help those who was wrongfully charged for these offenses,, the souls of those who were killed innocently,, R.I.P…. Family's of police officers need to talk with them regularly,, some of these guys are destroying peoples life..fuck man.

  98. Paul Apostle says:

Under the watch of a black President (which I like and admire) and you know the next white President wont give a crap.

  99. Michele N. Mason says:

You are absolutely right but not by the same IA office that reviewed this video, because they found nothing wrong with it!!!

  100. blacks commit 62% of violent crime in america and black people are only 18% of americas population..this explains it, its not rocket science its called COMMON SENSE..affirmative action only breeds INCOMPETENCE..eric garner in new york DIED 1 hour later at the hosp of a HEART ATTACK…CHANGE STARTS WITH PARENTING the young black kids to respect others and stop killing each other over a city block that belongs to the city..93% of BLACK people murdered are MUDERED by other BLACK PEOPLE, this is a PROBLEM…"man in the mirror" if you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make the change—M.J…stop blaming everyone else.

  101. Chez Piece says:

How are they going to plee not guilty when we could see the footage?

  102. Jo Ann Thomas says:

    Happy New Year, everyone !

I enjoyed reading the intelligent and well thought out comments on this article. The totally negative comments with name calling and profanity should be ignored for what they are; I'm grateful they don't represent full sentiments of the majority in our country. The article shows one form of racism by these particular policemen, but we should also understand there are many other forms of racism in employment, education, housing, TV, politics, healthcare, etc. This country can make a lot of progress by continued discussions, and understanding experiences that all races face. As a black woman I agree that racism occurs more often toward blacks but I also know its a fact that it happens to other races. I have seen/experienced police abuse by white and black policemen, and police women. We should have conversations with each other without attacking each other and blaming each other when we are mad at the perpetrators. It's similar to a person having a bad day with someone at the office and then going home to take it out on his/herfamily, some innocent bystander or kicking the dog. Overall, I think our country has more bad than good, but we need to continue to join forces to stamp out the bad. A true picture of our country was when people of various races came together in cities across the nation recently to protest police brutality. The solidarity was amazing. Have a wonderful year everyone. May we all be blessed with love and peace for 2015 and the years to come !!! HappyNew Year !!!!

  103. Jo Ann Thomas says:

Big correction: I thinks our country has more GOOD than BAD 🙂

  105. Dayne Gooden says:

pls check your info. about that 18 and that 62% thing you dream up. if you check any other race the stats are the same ppl will commit crimes against ppl of the same race.

  107. Chris Bren says:

It doesn't matter what color you are this is just wrong! When are people going to wake up? It is a form of conditioning, divide and conquer, turning this Great Nation into a police state.

  108. Mike Richard says:

These cops in the USA are going to be the main cause of the down fall of the USA. They are out of control, towards the people of the USA both blacks and whites. If they don't get this shit under control it's going to blow up in the US government's face.

  109. Wait wait wait let me understand this part, the police department found no wrong doing by the officers? Bloody hell that means this is an instruction to attack African people!!! I said and still saying it come home my African brothers and sister mother African can provide for all than going through such torture just to be in a white mans world

  110. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE POST VIDEOS OF COPS PULLING OVER WHITE AMERICANS ID LIKE TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY DIFFERENCE IN THEIR BEHAVIOUR.

  111. If the officers have cameras, dash cams and voice recorders and go to court with either one is missing, the cases should be thrown out. Its is to correct unless the judge is crooked also.

  112. I hope this department has deep pockets, this man deserves every dollar he's going to get.

  113. It never stops! You play the game, you speak well, you dress will, you get a degree and still they treat you like crap! The middle class Black person is even angrier than the so called ghetto dwellers because they played by the rules and still the same old crap. In California it is not as bad but they are still shooting unarmed Black men and then say oops! and nothing happens. When you do get a well paying job they say you must have gotten the job though affirmative action, no just better than you at doing the job!

  114. Lauren Young says:

This is ridiculous, but nothing about it shows it was racially motivated. The cop that was the most aggressive in this incident is Black! I think it shows that some cops are total jerks (to all citizens), and the system protects them. Bottom line, this isn't a cops being racist problem. This is a cops being above-the-law assholes problem.

  115. Wtf niggers your all Slaves your own kind sold you and you blame the white man go fuck your self I'm a white man that will beat your black ass niggers

  116. The only reason I took that coment off is because a family friend was hurt by it but it's bull shit you can talk shit about us white people and we can't stick up for our selves so to you and you know who you are fuck off and diw

  117. Tony Scott says:

yes this happens more to blacks and yes it happens to whites also the problem isn't race its bad mentality that police dept. all across America are targeting these guys with short fuses and easy to manipulate them into a frenzy very easily. that's the problem nothing else besides the management. who was responsible for putting guns in the hands of a sociopath.

  118. The reason why nonwhite people tend to say white people without any exclusion is because the judges, the media, the politicians like Giuliani who are mostly white don't believe them. His-story tells them that blacks are criminals, when this myth has been fallaciously created by the FBI=FUCK BLACK INDIVIDUALS.

  119. Video seems to be missing.

  120. Shane Lee as much as I see where you are coming from this video is almost a year old and WHAT ARE YOU STILL SEEING IN THE NEW? THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT IS ANGENDA OUT THERE TO CREATE A POLICE STATE….AND THIS IS THE METHOD!

  121. Ray Ruiz says:

    Shane Lee Language please…language.

  122. Poxy Walker says:

Racism is everywhere. It's even in the trade mark office. Sophia Stewart Vs Warner Bros. Sophia Stewart is the black woman that created the Matrix and Terminator movie franchises. Larry and Andy Wychanski and James Cameron, Gale Ann Huard, Fox, Warner Bros, and corrupt attorneys have conspired against Sophia Stewart to steal her source work from her book the third eye. The Matrix and Terminator derived from her source work. She won her rights to the Matrix and Terminator movie franchises in federal court in Utah Sept 25 2014. Now she's trying to cancel a fraudulent trade mark "Enter the Matrix" that Warner Bros is using to steal the royalties from the Matrix and Terminator movies. Sophia Stewart needs your help exposing this fraud. They are fighting to keep this out of the media. Contact her personally at http://www.matrixterminator.com. Thx in advance for your support.

  123. I have no doubt that since 1964 and the Civil Rights Act, the Ku Klux Klan have put away the hoods and robes and have gradually infested police departments.

  124. Tam Alex..Good for you. We need more like you.

  125. Tam Alex Exactly Tam, and there are plenty of white Americans that work diligently to stop this madness!

  126. Its the system you idiot!

  127. Bom white brb yellow red orange , there's racists in them all,

  128. Lucene D Simon Sadly true. I have had one buddy disrespected by a cop after being punched in the face by some randoms at the bar. All he wanted was to press charges against his attacker but the cop choose to threaten him instead with jail. This same cop has now retired because of other misconduct. I just think if my friend wasn't black the cop would have acted differently.

  129. The odd thing is this doesn't just happen with white cops. It makes me wonder what goes into hiring people for police officers now days. Absolute power corrupts absolutely?

  130. The IA officers that investigated and found no wrong doing need to be punished as well. That is "covering up" as far as I'm concerned.
