8 Biblical Concepts and Stories That Originated Outside of The Bible

garden of eden 2 croppedThe Creation Story

In the Persian scriptures of the Zoroastrians, the Avesta tells the story of how Ormuzd created the world and the first two humans in six days and then rested on the seventh. The names of these two human beings were Adama and Evah. These texts date back as far as the 10th century B.C.

There is also a lot of evidence that the Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the oldest recorded texts in human history (estimated to go as far back as 2200 B.C.), had an influence on the Biblical creation story. The Epic of Gilgamesh tells the story of a man, Enkidu, who was created from the earth by a god. He lives among the animals in a natural paradise until he is tempted by a woman.

    you guys are great!

  2. Heru Salmon says:

I don't think gilgamesh story is that old.

  3. Heru Salmon says:

I don't think gilgamesh story is that old.

  4. Sean Greene says:

It's the oldest written story we have.

  5. That is not true the hidu religion is the oldest documents in the world and they tell the story of adom an lilith

  6. Victor Johnson says:

The "Epic of Gilgamesh" is no where near the oldest written story. First of all the supposed authors had no alphabet until their contact with the ancient Egyptians who invented writing.

  7. I'm not going to argue time, but I never paid attention to the ideas of Heaven and Hell only being in the last 1/3 of the Bible. I guess it's so ingrained, one assumes that it was always underlying. But we all know that the 3 major, monotheistic religions (all being Abrahamic) are also the newest made; they are copy and pasted with a few author edits.

  8. Heru Salmon says:

You are so right bro. Only Euronuts will make this nonsense cuz they want to make it seem like mesopotamia is the origin for humanity even when science said no. Watch Dr walter williams video he will exposed you to the truth no such thing as sumerian civilization. Eurotards made it up.

  9. Heru Salmon says:

Sean Greene Nonsense if they didn't have alphabet until they made contact with the ancient egyptians. Eurotards made up that crap. No truth to back it up. The oldest story goes back to ancient egypt and kush.

  10. Victor Johnson says:

The Hidu religion comes from Africa, just like every other religion.

  11. Spencer Tyrus says:

Good article. We just need to be sure that our influence is always included, i.e. every concept persented in this article. The two omissions were the earilest creation story (The Kemetic Sep Tepy) and the Kemetic flood: "People have become rebellious. Atum said he will destroy all he made and return the earth to the Primordial Water which was its original state. Atum will remain, in the form of a serpent, with Osiris." (The Book Coming Forth by Day or what Europeans call the Book of the Dead.)

  12. Nikki DePaulo says:

    Nonsense

  13. Lamont Dowell says:

Prove it? Show me the oldest text from that religion? the oldest text (that we have been allowed to see) was found in the tomb of Scorpion, one of the predynastic king of upper Egypt. The writings on small clay squares/jewelry in his tomb are older than Summerian text. Metu Neter (hieroglyphics) predates Egypt and traces back to earlier Nile valley civilization, so does the spiritual teaching and ways of life we modern, less evolved humans refer to as religion. Please have a seat.

  14. Lamont Dowell says:

Research Queen. Y'all find that what we've all believed most of our lives is rally nonsense

  15. good post man. i know that the jewish religion was taken from Hindu teachings which seems to tie with the dates youve given and the old testament but could someone tell me what happened before. i would like to know of these Gods and is there a written correlation between Gilgamesh and these norse gods. Unless it is Yucab where did they come from?

  16. David Alston says:

The genesis account is not an account only restricted to Judaism, Christianity or islam. Know the meaning of the word Genesis before you comment on it being a fairytale. Know what the word Adam mean before you comment on it. There are two main points of the Genesis account #1 there is a creator and # 2 Everything comes out of it's own kind ( we did not originate from a lower primate called Ida a monkey with a tale from that comes hominids. read below his is scientific proof that has been suppressed showing extreme human antiquity going back millions of years. Just a reminder the evolutionist say modern man has only existed less than 200,000yrs this is false.

  17. Nikki DePaulo says:

what is rally nonsense? Is that like… a bunch of people rallying together to discredit what is written in the bible by promoting all sorts of ancient writings that "someone" said they found? All this does for me is prove the word. If you are finding ancient texts that are a variant of what is written in the bible – why go on to assume the bible is the lie. hahaha funny. It SHOULD tell you there is obviously something to this since there are mutliple written accounts. Different names to a similar story means nothing to me except different cultures/peoples are giving their account of a historical event. That does not make me doubt it. Ever passed a message down a line of people? Try it. The message starts out one way – by the time it gets to the end, the story has changed. Try passing that message down a line of people from different countries who speak different languages. Think about how many versions you would get. Man I'm too smart for this crap.

  18. Steve Webb says:

Make a start for historical research, Dr. Bart D. Ehrman (Misquoting Jesus) "YouTube " Also google http://originalpeople.org.

  19. Martonyo Caddiell says:

Nikki DePaulo Wow…..ummm the difference is, our ancestors didn't take any of it as literal, and if you are reading newer versions of older stories than then newer ones are just a copy and paste. And there is no evidence of a creation story, it's just a story passed down, it's not literally how the earth came into creation, no one knows that. No one in those stories are true they way they tell them and these characters never existed. These newer religions are just poor interpretations of the older ones. 500 years from now there will some new garbage people will jumping up and down swearing to be truth.

  20. Brendan Cole says:

When people say oldest they usually mean the oldest story people have evidence of, not the oldest story in existence. I believe older writings have been discovered.

  21. Brendan Cole says:

When people say oldest they usually mean the oldest story people have evidence of, not the oldest story in existence. I believe older writings have been discovered. Not sure how many of those writings qualify as stories.

  22. Phillip Ashwood says:

Heru Salmon .. careful with the word Humanity .. it is a greek word .. there is a difference between the origin of homosapiens and what we call civilised man. The cradle of humanisms, the Mediterranean had many peoples of different types and casts .. before these times things may have appeared foreign or alien to modern homo sp. .. though they may have also shared repeated action types and familiarities with modern man .. the early agricultural world is still very much un-researched due to its habitable life style being a venture of wood not stone .. the small scale agricultural revolutions which preceded architectural revolutions such as stone masonry may have been going on for many tens of thousands of years, even before such great nations as the Egyptians and The Mesopotamians .. Imagine a time after all the great beasts have been all but slain and the lands relatively safe to travel .. first of homo sp. projects .. kill all the big dangerous beasts in the area .. there is no war between tribes, killing the dangerous beasts is the unifier of the peoples .. the lands would have been fairly accessible and travel between tribes all over Africa and Europe where passage was permitted by clear lands would be possible .. I guess this side of the dream is perverted in some senses by the psychological trials and traits of modern man and the accusation that hate and violence is inherent from origin birth of species .. is it?.. the truth is that the truth will bee known only across all the academic studies as the loop on the bag of all things to be known is drawn closed .. as we piece together the annals of our populations and tribes .. our collective histories of the homosapien endeavours to strive for existence further .. to stretch our worth across time .. to eat of the space and all that is in-between .. big story .. how many hours since homo sp. first co-ordinated its counter domination of its destiny by pooling knowledge and resources to fight back against the dominations of nature .. loads of history ..loads of things sad .. loads of looks at each other .. loads of different trials by food and technology .. loads of friends and family returned to the grounds .. a systematic chain of events inside the box .. outside the box, all is accounted for .. .. I guess in the ling run no top predators we start to eat each other , , .. nom nom said the g'nome as he chomsky'd on his grubs .. "Human G'nome Project" .. what of the Elf and his Haarp? .. πŸ™‚

  23. Jaiel Omari says:

Legends and myths are supposedly base on some.factual info and all ancient people are the world have these stories that appear in the bible. The question we should be asking is why do these different cultures have similar stories? It seems to.me that all these stories have the same origin and that there may be some factual.evidence to back them up.

  24. Anthony Coligan says:

You idiot, it says ONE of the oldest written stories not THE oldest. Also yes it is quite possible that is is seeing as how the Egyptian civilization is over 10,000 years old, which is what it's saying. Plus if you want to go into semantics cave men were actually the original inventors of "writing" because we all know writing is just a physical form of story telling or "documenting" events which the cave men did first by painting. So suck it nerf nuts.

  25. Heru Salmon says:

Anthony Coligan Cave man didn't have civilization until rome fell to the barbarians. The greeks got their alphabets from us africans. Also the painting in the caves were done by africans in europe not your barbarian ass. U did nothing until the 16th century.

  26. Anthony Coligan says:

Heru Salmon Lol Africa wasn't even a place when cave men were alive. Also no one said cave men had civilizations, and Greeks were around long before Africa. Cave men weren't even able to be classified by race at the time because they were on a different evolutionary plane when they were alive so to say they were black or white is just stupid, they were everything all in one, just hairy muscular beings. Also barbarians are considered a class of people based off of how they live their lives, they're not a race you retard lol.

  27. Paula Lindsay says:

    great illustrations

  28. Richard W. Rowe Jr. says:

The name of the book is 'Pagan Origins of the Christ Myth' not 'Pagan Origins of the Christian Myth' and the author is John G. Jackson not George G. Jackson. In the 'Epic of Gilgamesh' it is not Enkidu who encounters the serpent, but Gilgamesh, Enkidu is already dead by then. I like the article but c'mon, get it right.

  29. Phillip Ashwood says:

Anthony Coligan Cretin would have been more topically appropriate .. it is one of, if not the archetypal origin story of the coming of man .. the fruit, the meat of life and the covenant between our biology and the outer world. Writing is an archaic arcane form of the storing of information drawn from experiences, and the subsequent expression there for creating order and location in events .. ?nerf nuts and hunting ferns .. story of .. .. ..

  31. Victor Johnson says:

Heru Saimon, these trollers have no substative recourse other than lies, insults and pseudo information; so it serve no rational purpose to engage them inteligent debate, therefore, ignore the sad little create.

  32. Phillip Ashwood says:

Heru Salmon 16th Century .. thats wildly inaccurate .. I feel you were attacking all Europeans with that comment .. we picked up the thread of the truth after the fire at the Library in Alexandria, and then more so after the fires and looting at the imperial library in Constantinople in 1453 by the Ottoman empire and the destruction of so many important documents .. The beginning of the dark ages some might say .. for europeans began a researching and collating of what was left across the Biblical world and centuries of attempts at restoring and compiling all the lost data and histories under the orders of various organisations religious and otherwise .. filling a vacuum .. dark, harsh, bleak, oppressive times for the majority across most of Europe. Many did not even fall from grace as they were there in the dark already .. Give props for the century chosen, I personally would have put it more around the end half of the 13th Century and the coming of Henry the VIII. A time of great reformation and a fashionable set up for potential future industrial successes. Prior to this the majority were defending themselves and fighting for their own political freedoms and safeties and/or living simple arable lifestyles .. When I say inaccurate, we were trying in many ways to conform to various new ideas of fairness, Magna Carta etc .. how we share the plots and the lots ..

  33. Phillip Ashwood says:

We could discuss the analogies for the dawn of this creation, and the cascade of Atom and his elements into the womb that would birth this single unified verse .. thats an older story, or even before if you like .. the phoenix and the phonix and the dance of the elementals in the light parade .. either way to cause arguments and make insult is only a curse upon ones own person ..

  34. Heru Salmon says:

Phillip Ashwood It was the same black people recivilized by the europeon. They were call the moors. And don't come with they were arabs and all that bs. Cause physical evidence showing the king of france describing the moors as being dark as ink. Arabs might have come 500 yrs after moors conquered spain and part of southern france. But they had nothing to do with moorish science and stuff. I realize alot of bias history today. Arabs are uncivilize till this day. All the science and math came from egypt and africans. What they did was try to apply arab like names to it that didn't even exists. And since history is written by the winners they erase blacks from it.

  38. Daniel Sims says:

Evolutionists do NOT say that "modern man has only existed less than 200,000 yrs". They work with the evidence that they have available, which suggests that humans, in the modern form, have existed for about 200,000 years. Could they be wrong? Yes. And any scientist will admit to that, because new evidence to the contrary would change the consensus. And there is no "scientific proof" that is being "suppressed" by anyone. If someone has credible evidence about the evolution of any species, to include humans, then they are more than welcome to have their evidence presented and evaluated in any scientific journal. The scientific community would be ablaze at any new information that would be introduced, and the researcher would undoubtedly receive a grant to further their research at least and some sort of scientific prize at best. The idea that the academic scientific community is suppressing evidence is unfounded and completely preposterous.

  39. Phillip Ashwood says:

Heru Salmon I'm in the UK where the whole concept of 'blacks' being erased form history books is not such a ordeal, we know the books have been cooked so to say .. Moors .. yes brings back memories of Robin Hood prince of thieves . ."curse on Moors and Saracens if it weren't for their ungodly ways we wouldn't be in this mess .. what type of name is Aziem.. cornish welsh?" .. "Moorish" hehe yeh, that made laugh, still does .. the tone of it .. .. I do not disagree with your last comment only to say that the Hindus were and still are a fantastic race/group of mathematicians and programmers .. Arab/Islamic civility post 1400AD .. they did their bit for medical science and ?astronomy .. Where western/english Christians were still to afraid, although brave enough to invade Jerusalem and murder thousands ..

As an aside, you might be able to help me on this though .. I once saw a colour photo of an African man, black as night, but i noticed he had black palms of his hands .. it made me think of the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team .. It is also true that Australasian ancestors are also African and much closer in hereditary genealogy to Africans than Caucasian, or white people if you like .. Have you ever come across an african man of origin with black palms of his hands before? .. Are they common? Is this the real Negro? .. ultimately though for me the colour of skin means nothing next to the goodness of the man it clothes .. anyhow I have some sleeping to do. Peace.

p.s. lots of 'black' africans are winners and lots and lots of whites as a majority are still losing at their own race .. its financial divide .. the race is global and all projects fall in accordance with the needs of the globe and the behaviour of each countries inhabitants ..

p.p.s. I'm not sold on the one point of origin claim yet. A global shift in atmospheric chemistry may have sparked a global evolutionary chain of events and a group of animals once larger and not so dispersed from one another that had become dispersed could have mated again later, as two separate variations of an original .. it may also be that our common ancestor, as a one, was not an ape at all .. so to say that the ape man had already left Africa before he became an ape and then went back leaving his genomic traits along the path .. back into Africa .. where it then bred and spread into something that is a bit more like modern homosapien sp. .. its pretty vague archaeology to base claims that could insight war or hateful acts, it will be fun watching our collective ancestors story be told .. all the way back to Luca and Archaia.

  41. Scott Matthews says:

The story of the birth of Christ also appeared prior to the Bible in at least one instance that I know of: in the finnish book The Kalevala. The last chapter describes a virgin woman (named Marjatta) gave birth to a divine son of the Great God, who would grow up to bring peace to the people, through his own sacrifice. This predated the Bible by nearly a millennia.

  42. I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I believe that Jesus died on the cross, to save the life of man kind, who is so ungrateful, I believe i n Heaven & Hell, and I believe we will not be here in 500 years, because man has become so wicked. Be not concerned about what or where you come from, where are you going

  43. Carl Gayton says:

I find it real interesting that very few writings found in Kerma Sudan are ever shared…

  44. Abraham Thomas says:

So much things to say right now and emnacipation from mental slavery, no one but self. It's us human being whom have made; "SOMETHING WENT WRONG SOME WHERE". Charless Darwin is right about the SURVIVAL OF THE FITEST theory. Serengeti is great example!

  45. There is a lot of misinformation here. I'm not super familiar with Bible stuff but I can tell you that neither Buddha, Odysseys, Heracles or Horus were conceived by virgins or resurrected…

  46. Daniel Sims There is a large amount of scientific evidence that is suppressed. This is a verifiable fact.

  47. Daniel Sims Oh, and these so-called "missing links" aren't as concrete as they want you to believe.

  48. Alexander Usher says:

Adam Edward Weiker can you provide evidence to verify your verifiable fact please.

  49. Daniel Sims says:

How can scientific evidence be suppressed if every individual has the ability to conduct their own experiments? If you think something exists, then you are perfectly capable of presenting your case. If evidence is available, then you should be able to present it. So, as the saying goes, put up or shut up. What is your evidence that the scientific community is suppressing evidence?

  50. Rabuto El says:

Nikki DePaulo Your silly. You cant claim the Bible as the word of god if your stories are taken from other cultures that you would deem pagan. It does not make the bible true just cause the writers took the stories from ancient cultures. There still is a lack of evidence of alot of biblical characters even existing. Don't get carried away. Jesus is not a historical figure he will not come back to save your ass.

  51. Takeyo Flaw Asson says:

STFU.. This was pure non-sensible! It will come back to hurt you.

  52. Craig An'em says:

Audrey Garrick you're indoctrinated and have never used critical thinking towards your beliefs

  53. Craig Lowery says:

Audrey Garrick you're indoctrinated and have never used critical thinking towards your beliefs

  54. There is one major thing to take from this… Christianity and the Bible are complete bull shit!

  55. There is one major thing to take from this… Christianity and the Bible are complete bull shit!

  56. hell in the bible isn't depicted as an inferno by outside sources it's actually directly referred to as a place of gnashing of teeth by Jesus himself (gnashed teeth is a symptom of extreme burns)

  57. then go die and be with your made up god.

  58. Theodora Anagor says:

Daniel Sims Man existed more than 350,000 years ago new evidence has come through, in America.

  59. Daniel Sims says:

Theodora Anagor Thanks for the information. Just to be clear, I am not in disagreement with evolution and am always open to receiving new information. But that new information is never going to be that humans have only existed for less than 10,000 years, as creationists want us to believe.

  60. Daniel Sims says:

Theodora Anagor Thanks. You really should be sending that information to the creationists, especially the YEC lot, though. I'm already on board with evolution and the concept of an old earth. I'm a bit confused as to why you're singling me out, as if I'm disagreeing with you or saying anything that counters evolution. Unless I've missed something, I think we're on the same page.

  61. Jeremy Thomas ……Did you evolve from a monkey or were you created by God ????

  62. Phillip Ashwood says:

Freddy Rattler Hello. I wrote quite alot there .. How do you do Freddie Rattler? .. was it close to a convincing argument? a bit abbreviated but well in meaning ..

  63. Don Rice says:

Phillip Ashwood : Anthony is clearly someone who has no comprehension of real history, only the pseudo-history perpetuated by the churches and other power brokers. I wouldn't bother with him, as was stated, he is a troll.

  64. Don Rice says:

Phillip Ashwood : Anthony is clearly someone who has no comprehension of real history, only the pseudo-history perpetuated by the churches and other power brokers. I wouldn't bother with him, as was stated, he is a troll.

  65. Phillip Ashwood says:

Don Rice you may call me pope pontious the innocent .. my apologies .. there is room for all thoughts and it is bad to be ignorant of others ideas and concepts as in the English language they all tell the story together, the language dictates only so many outcomes of rational, reasonable, logical and politically correct action .. trolls and bridges .. .. that could be deemed argumentative .. hmm .. a bridge reaches out .. and allows safe passage .. each part of the O_Cult-ure has its view and function .. each has orders and we all perpetrate to avoid the final solutions and merge through into community and longevity ..

  66. Phillip Ashwood
I love your optimism. Sight beyond pigment, even beyond species, may prove useful in the long throw of our years to come.

  67. Phillip Ashwood says:

The language as a root codex has a strength just beyond the reach of the Bible itself .. each of the words in the dictionary has a supporting document of actions akin to the Bible itself .. thousand upon thousand of years of repeated work load and study formulating the expressions from gut feelings to utterances to full vocalisations ..

  68. Phillip Ashwood says:

    Freddy Rattler
I do hope so, we do all seem to be capable of walking about at the same pace .. as stated many a time tis not a race it is a walk in the park .. Echo Park .. lets grow the biggest planetary garden ..

  69. Yo Ronnie. The worst of it may be that our "handlers" want us to believe Humanity is bullshit. They don't have to know that for sure, to get great mileage out of convincing us of it. I have to admit, it's a bit spooky to imagine what's left if ALLLL the bullshit is deleted? Whatever the answer, we're likely not who they say we are.

  70. Freddy Rattler That was kinda deep… Interesting

  71. Michael Ntho says:

The big question is, Why is Christianity the main target out of all other religions?

  72. Uzuri Ulim says:

    Interesting….

  73. God is not new knowledge. He has been forever. Old as well as new cultures spread his word in their own context to their reality. Funny how the beginning of mankind, and the word of God are similar beliefs throughout the existence of man. This repetitive factor in different times and religions, serve to authenticate..the truth of his being.. to all humans, no matter our position on God's timeline.

  74. Josh Jeffries says:

Or cultural commerce exists throughout time regardless of truth. Many cultures have stories of dragons. Only a lunatic would think literal dragons ever existed.

  75. Jeffry Rafael Valdez says:

Michael Ntho: because it's the first religion to rake in the money by instilling fear in the hearts of men.

  76. Michael Ntho says:

Jeffry Rafael Valdez nuh man, you know that ain't true. there were other religions even before then dealing with money as well.

  77. If the "Epic of Gilgamesh" had an influence on the Biblical creation story… then the Bible is a lie and cannot be trusted at all, since the Bible makes a totally different claim. This means that in this 'atlantablackstar' article they are discrediting all the scholarship that has been poured into the study or the Bible over the years by scholars from Oxford, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, etc. and are implying that these scholars were wasting their time… I think I will go with scholarship rather than the online upstart

  78. Barbara M Stapleton says:

Michael Ntho Because it's the truth!

  79. Michael Ntho says:

Barbara M Stapleton how certain are you mam? or is it because we doubt Christianity & thus conclude already at the back of our minds that any philosophy, doctrine, monograph that discredits the Bible & Christianity is truth?

  80. They are referring to our lost relationship with the Gaian mind, which, throughout pre-history (30,000 to 10,000 years ago) referred to as a feminine diety, often embodied in the Horned Goddess figures of places like Catal Huyuk and the Round Head Cults. All of these cults were psychedelic mushroom eating cults. There is evidence that nearly all pre history religions were based on the consumption of hallucinogens to gain entry into the mind of the Goddess. There was literally no war in these times. This is the inverted Creation story, indeed in a time when religions were based on masculine, domineering concepts. As Terence McKenna put it, this is the story of the "world's first drug bust."

  81. The Gilgamesh Epic, created by a Sumerian, was written in cuneiform, whereas the Egyptians used hieroglyphics, so the Sumerians could not have learned to write from the Egyptians.

  82. Michael Ntho Because its evangelists are pushing a made-up religion that consists largely of historical fictions and ideas stolen from other religions.

  83. Anthony Joe Kimuri Nobody evolved from a monkey, and there never were any deities to create anything. Monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor.

  84. Adam Edward Weiker If scientific evidence has been suppressed, how do you know about it? Are you privy to information that is not available to the rest of us? If you are, what is it and how did you get it?

  85. Biblical scholars know all about the Gilgamesh Epic, and have said so.

  86. All you are saying is that people have always been superstitious. They could be excused for it in ancient and medieval times, but in the 21st century, there's no excuse.

  87. .. and to John H. Yes, superstition is the retreat when cornered by the demand for an explanation and you have none.. but can't say no to the demand. I'm a creationist guy myself. However, I suspect the god we (those like me) suspect exists, is clever on an order of magnitude beyond the ways we use our imagination to find 'it'.. and we might have a better chance at it's discovery if we relent trying to bring it's proposed reality to a level we can reach intellectually. And that's to apply to cases when we do this only to prove its non-existence. The carrot I follow (to date) is in how DNA seems to be a magnificently clever device that begs an intellect as it's designer. Call me crazy, but if my suspicion about this is true, and everything we know or suspect flows from a really elevated system of engineering, then that would render us artificially intelligent. To get really.. peculiar, I suspect life as we understand it, may not exist at all. All science, to date, is stymied in a quest to find an explanation why life exists at all. I personally suspect it may be impossible that life exists. Impossible. Yet, here we seem to be. Sponge Bob S.P., as an example of "someone" we breathed life into, may, in a fine sense, be as alive as we are.

  88. Long considering Hell as something in any way associated with God.. it would seem, that God would have to be a truly brutish psychopath of unimaginable cruelty to torture a single one of it's creation like that.. for any crime. Our collective secret is that we can't really love God, believing God to be such a monster. That his son's hands are clean of the father's madness, offers an 'out' to love our creator(s).

  89. Freddy Rattler careful with that man, the bible says wisdom starts with reverence for the almighty.

  90. Freddy Rattler careful with that man, the bible says wisdom starts with reverence for the almighty.

  91. Freddy Rattler If I were to tell you that you should believe in little green men on Mars who control everything that happens on Earth, and created everything on Earth, would you look at the question the same way? Science isn't stymied, because it has come up with a logical and natural explanation for the first creation of life, but can't prove it (yet).

  92. J. I'd look at what can be identified as the truth the same way, even if the lil green Martian guys have the answers. That could be true you know. To be sure we mean the same thing when the word stymied is used, I use it to mean no approach to answering the question of the origin of life has proven productive. It appears to be among the most fruitless of all investigations. I imagine, adding to the difficulty, what I hear from scientists speaking openly about the subject, is that there's no real way to know if life on Earth originated on Earth in the 1st place. All they can do is try and replicate 'a' process using local material. If life's origin is extraterrestrial, it seems that "other" location might need be found and the investigation would resume there. It may be that the matrix for life's creation may not exist (or be accessible) on Earth. In any case, the "leap to life" from thoughtless material is a really cool riddle, even as a proposition of logic. If the technique is found, however, it would be the most momentous of all the discoveries, on par with the creation of energy.. that other peculiar proposition. Ever hear the one about 'matter can neither be created or destroyed?' .. Wtf? Lol!

  93. Mr Rupert. I guess we've reached the age where all religions, particularly those offered to African Americans, may now have to submit to open and honest questions and concerns from African Americans. In our past, no one asked us what religion we preferred. We were never allowed the privilege of grown men to make our own choices about anything important. I wouldn't think the God of our prayers would be afraid of any questions we might ask. Honestly, how else might true belief come about, except from a heart made quiet by it's own discovery, thru faith in what it "knows" from its own work to find answers? Our first belief as Americans came under the lash of a whip. One might wonder what's really in the hearts of those who 'obey' without the comfort of true belief.

  94. I appreciate your offer that I use caution. I ask you, if reverence and fear can be two words for the same thing? If we are to use the very mind and sensibilities designed and installed by our creator, to grovel and cower in fear of cruelty from that same creator, what might that mean? That's more familiar as behavior expected before a human king who only has our fear to keep us in line. It seems more likely that there are 'cruel little men' shouting at us from behind curtains who would benefit more from our fear. I ask this question as well: Has anyone (outside the varied clergy) on record in all of human history heard these cruel threats from God directly to their ears? We're made to feel stupid if we wonder why God wouldn't tell us something so important to our face. I heard someone say once, that God wants to be our best friend. What if that's true?

  95. Victor Johnson says:

Sumer = "The Sumerians" is a Biblical literary creation whose civilization never really existed in antiquity. Therefore, if the Sumerians are a facticous literay creation, it is reasonable to conclude that the cuneiform clay writing system (lol) is also fake. Please note: The ancient Egyptians used three (3)(Hieroglyphics, Hieratic and Demotic) forms of writing and what you refer to as Phonetic, Latin and Greek writing all comes from the ancient Egyptians.

  96. Phillip Ashwood says:

Victor Johnson but if you were to be a student and to discover the cuneiform tablets and the mysteries of Sumeria before having ever read the Bible ,then the existence of the Sumerians would be more real than literal as your first experience would be of actuality and not by word description .. that would be an event mind order .. (this is straying into Quantum mind manifolds of "he said, you said, I said – we all saw the same thing from different aspects." .. .. Torus and head sets // in the ears around the eyes .. I'm pretty sure though that Cuniform was a communication tool hunting top trump cards, with information about tools required and territories as opposed to a system of language to explain past present and future. Co-evolution is possibly apparent it can be that language might have formed from something of similar background maybe a body art and tun transcended through two different cultures at the same time .. John.P Herling, I will look out for the Gilgamesh Epic not seen that yet ..

  97. RevKen E Rupert says:

If Christianity originated in America or England you would have a valid point! The Christian Faith is over two thousand years old! The Christian Faith spread to America through evangelism. Now what some Americans did under the auspice of being a Christian is well documented and is flat-out horrible. But as I read the Bible I see no where in the Word of God people can kill and main people and called them selves a Believer. So people might have said they are Christians but the hate in their hearts notified them as a believer.

  98. Cool dissertation Mr P. I've read it once again, and you pay fair tribute, even poetically, to the long shadow of our presence on Earth. It reminds me how difficult it may be for anyone to humble himself to the grandeur of Times great passage. Fear of winking to insignificance before the dominance of Time is the lot of the organic creature. It's likely always been hard for a human being to imagine thousands of years after his death. I guess it's best that when ones time is now, to take a good look around and see, sense, feel, learn, know, as much as one can, then make that crucial, 'unique' contribution all the learning was for.. that we might continue to 'build' this.. wonderful thing we work tirelessly on. Human heritage may range as far and away as a nearby star (an oxymoron?). Hundreds of millions of years may be the true range of our real history. And our form factor may range accordingly. Given quantum considerations, any amount of time we may guess at, may be irrelevant to the lifespan of the drama of the thoughtful, sensitive, artful organic mind. Along this line, five minutes and five hundred million years may be as similar as viewing each number on a sheet of paper. You can view them simultaneously, right? With head bowed, heart open, and ears up, who knows, the long way back to our origin.. and even an originator.. may unfold before us. Personally, I think the old Country Preacher has it right saying, ''God is the farthest thing from you imaginable, and the nearest to you imaginable." Has a quantum ring to it, right?! Humility, and a quiet, open mind, may be the only possible path to the peace of mind we seek.

  99. Victor Johnson says:

I get the metaphysical aspects of our existence, but the subject matter was in reference to the oldest forms of writing and who invented writing in this vibratory dimension. Perhaps there exist hundreds of holographic parallel universes of varying frequencies and resonances, but the fact remains that the history books in western culture on this planet are lying; and that the recipricol perception perceived relationship has had a devastating effect of many factions of earths population is relevant. It is funny how after the truth is reveal, some then want to subscribe to a deeper cosmic understanding and aliens etc, thus it appears to be an attempt to nullify the achievements of the planets true cultivator. Just give the fucking credit bitches.

  100. Freddy Rattler That energy can neither be created nor destroyed is part of the First Law of Thermodynamics. The logical corollary to this is that all the energy in the universe must always have existed in some form, so that the universe cannot be said to have been created.

  101. Phillip Ashwood says:

Victor Johnson Mine turned out to be a having to be in the acceptance of those things in many ways but I still hold also to the regular daily attributes of life. I like this, "recipricol perception perceived relationship," could you expand upon it? Do you mean it seems in some ways we all trying to be t irene shut actually stabbing each other n the back burley by being alive and not dying for the sake of each other.. quote myself "When all men stood and clapped hands .. and their heads fell off," .. that has so many mistakes excuse me a minute ..

  102. Phillip Ashwood says:

Freddy Rattler The quote at the end I like ''God is the farthest thing from you imaginable, and the nearest to you imaginable." I have a similar one forming from my quantum literary works "Happy Farthest Day .. as he was always happy farthest away at his works but we had dad as well.." of our national father figures. You mention being at the end of time, as in to not be able to foresee future events .. as if they were unwritten .. I have a outlook on this that if I were to be able to see all I would become stuck in a loop forever (cardinal loops) and this is a very base fear .. It is as if a base function existence, a loop a whirl on a cycle .. .. In times lacking significant foresight it is that I sense the future, as to know all in omnipotence is so excruciating in this form that I would not wish for it but do pertain to it as it is always there .. all the acts of all the peoples .. some prayers do get through and I may whisper into your subconscious as we all do .. I am young still and I write, yet decoding the wisdom into modern media sense enough to prevent .. say a plane crash .. on my own .. is beyond me .. Many literary things are now becoming real to me as like to listen with your heart and other such abstract capabilities .. I would say it is because I am being at my most honest and using the best words to relay my transmissions to remove confusions in my writings to those who understand the depths of the meaning and the supporting stories of experience .. as if a archaeologist blowing the dust off of a transcript to reveal its information beneath .. just reread it .. you have the quantum ring in yours too .. the influence of modern media science is quite prevalent and it is difficult to make ones own niche complex in the mind without plagiarisms .. same language .. the language has its best appropriate orders .. one science book should read the same as the next as they say .. it isis not is with a fancy twist .. I'm waffling a bit .. already done a fare bit of thinking and writing .. the language itself writes the law .. I'll leave it there for tonight thanks for the feed back and to you too Victor Johnson .. I don't get alloted much time with people who are knowledgable or capable of stringing a sentence together πŸ˜‰ any how good night all.x

  103. You're right V. There's a direct correlation between loss of self-esteem, loss of face, and loss of knowledge of ones' history. That makes "our" challenge all the more vexing. We must find whatever real value we will have in the absence of this knowledge. If we're special, it's to the bone. Who can really take that away? Meantime, we must find a path to a value for ourselves today. If we were ever great, we yet are. A powerful martial artist with amnesia may not remember who he is, but there's likely nothing missing in his muscle memory. You're special.. or not. A great problem we have today is in distancing ourselves from age old practices related to the failure of lowbrow materialism. This has dragged many an empire down into the dust. America's top financial elite (for one example), Black and White, are eaten up by it. The terms "African," Earthling, and Humanity, are synonymous in a very important way. Everybody's African. Today, all those other hues flocking to Africa, seemingly to just rob and pillage, are as well just bad-ass kids returning home to Mother. What that means and does not mean is connected to whether Humanity will survive or be weighed down to ruin by ignorance and savagery. The High Road is to the Heavens.. Africans/Earthlings, in glory, astride technological marvels, weighed down with Benevolence and Real Civilization, off to deliver good news to Humanity's Old Ones about their good judgement to give us our chance.

  104. Phillip Ashwood says:

Freddy Rattler keep the right side of the institutions we should be alright .. it is they that create or block access to the 'things' in life .. I support most of the institutions as the institutions were put there mostly to be in assistance to the peoples who required access .. Institutionalised in Britain : British Institutions : Mental .. Is God Still An Englishman? How Britain lost its faith (but found new soul)

  106. The Bible is a collection of books by many writers who wrote at different times and places (compute the odds of that producing a unified message?). When Moses started writing Genesis, he was aware of so many of these old writings narrating what had happened since Creation. As former prince of Egypt, he was well-equipped for the task. The reason God called Him was to prove to him and to us all that God indeed created all things. Hence, it was to a learned prophet that God appeared to prove He is the Creator. All stories then prior to Moses' writings are based on that fact that God did bring everything into existence. Moses' job was to clarify and define God and His purpose for creating. This fact should remove any discrepancies or corruptions of the original story that we see in so-called "pre-existing" tales. Nevertheless, the best proof that God did as Moses wrote is our own existence and the very existence of Nature. Historical, prophetic, archeological and geological proofs abound as to the authenticity of the Bible's authority. To question or deny this authority is tantamount to rejecting universal truth. So, if we're looking for the oldest evidence of God's creative work, look around the planet and look into your own heart. If you still don't get it, nothing will.

Josh Jeffries But perhaps the very real creatures that once could hurt us were merely retold as dragons?

  110. Shiny Shiva says:

the truth is that Jehovah is the GOD who created the earth and all living things moving around the world jehovah is God almighty, He created the first man adam and eve his wife, if this is wrong then science is also wrong because, God created human from dust and science says yes, 97% off human body is from dust praticales only.

  111. Jaiel Omari says:

Josh Jeffries is you have an electric eel/snake that's creates electrical currents from it's body or a lightning bug that makes light from it's Body and last a beetle that makes a chemical that makes a bomb that it use to kill it's prey with I think dragons were in the realm of possibility my friend.

  112. Shiny Shiva says:

christ himself says to worship his father with truth and spirit jonh4:24 it reads God is a spirit and those worshipping him must worship him with truth and spirit,… the bible says he that is calling on the name of God will be saved, in psalms 83:18 says May people know that you, whose name is jehovah, you alone are the most high over all earth.

  113. Shiny Shiva says:

the Bible is written by some 40 diffrent men they were kings, fisher men doctors, tax collector, but it is inspired by God Almighty JEHOVAH Is his name says the Holy writtings were written by him alone, 2nd timothy 3:14-16 it says

  114. Shiny Shiva says:

yes if we were come from monkey then why is the change of our body were is the tail of monkey to us and the children we bear all have to born like monkey only, that is not true, God is so loving he created its kind we human are higher then the animals. God's Name is JEHOVAG says the bible

  115. Heru Salmon The Sumerians' wrote in cuneiform and the Egyptians wrote in hieroglyphics, so the Sumerians did not learn to write from the Egyptians.

  116. Thank you John Doucette. I am in a state of belief in my free writing. Much of this I have not overly studied but the English language seemingly puts it into context by itself when enough meaning is gathered over the years. I am writing from the point of thought without pre-meditation. As the conversation arises I share my thoughts. Each language is a mentality with orders of importance displayed in grammatical context. If anyone knows of any work available(UK or foreign), please let me know. I can do many things. I'm a graduate in Music Technology and very intelligent if a little slower for the security in my processes than most, and very keen to learn and apply what I know to other industrial sectors. Have a good day everyone.

  117. Shelley Rees says:

Moses didn't write the Torah. If he had, he would have written about his own death, which is a neat trick.
