“The Musketeers” season 1, episode 3: ‘Commodities’ airs tonight.
In this week’s episode, The Musketeers have to collect the infamous merchant trader Bonnaire and bring him back to Paris to be punished for breaking France’s trade treaty, but it soon becomes a treacherous battle, as they must defeat Bonnaire’s surprising number of enemies. Athos is forced to confront his past.
Set on the streets of 17th-century Paris where law and order is more an idea than reality, the series follows Musketeers Athos, Aramis and Porthos who are far more than King Louis XIII’s personal bodyguards, but ultimately stand resolutely for social justice: for honour, for valour, for love and for the thrill of it.
