Rihanna has been counting down the release to her “What Now” video since last week and now it’s finally here. The Bajan singer previously took fans behind the scenes for the making of the video a few days ago and gave a quick preview yesterday, but now fans can view the video in its entirety. According to mtv.com:
“As promised, Rihanna is both creepy and pretty in her video for ‘What Now.’ The simple visual focuses on the singer as she mopes in a sparse warehouse space, possessed by her loneliness.
The video then steps up its game thanks to Rih’s demented dance movements, beautiful clothes (which she has dubbed “red carpet goth”), the video’s quick shots and edgy camera effects. And, whether or not she is aware of it, some of the scenes in the video (directed by Jeff Nicholas, Jonathan Craven and Darren Craig) pay homage to some of her past visuals”
Even though Rih Rih’s “What Now” video was highly anticipated all week, it’s now being over shadowed a little by the news that Rihanna and Drake made it rain in a Houston strip club to the tune of $17,000. That must have been some kind of night, but it goes along with Rihanna’s “Pour It Up” video more so than ‘What Now.”
