Beyonce released a trailer today for the upcoming DVD release of her documentary “Life Is But A Dream.” The documentary originally appeared on HBO, but Bey is releasing it for physical purchase on November 25th. The trailer served as a double treat for fans, as they not only get to see Beyonce, but they also get a preview of her new song “God Made You Beautiful.” According to vibe.com:
“While Beyoncé’s new album may soon come, she has gifted the BeyHive with a new record called ‘God Made You Beautiful’ in the DVD of her Life Is But A Dream documentary. The movie about Bey made by Bey was an instant viewer-grabber on HBO when it aired earlier this year in February and can now be physically yours in a 2-disc set, which could make for the ultimate stan package when paired with her 2014 calendar.”
There has been much anticipation and speculation surrounding Beyonce’s next album, as people wonder when and if it will be released. Super producer Pharrell Williams says that he’s been working with Beyonce and that the album will come on her own schedule, not anyone else’s. As Williams told billboard.com:
“B’s album is crazy. Let me tell you what it is. She’s very particular. She’s a Virgo. And she’s not going to put it out until it’s ready and feels like it’s right to her. She’s got a very specific taste. I guess that’s the reason she’s Beyonce. Her name is recognizable around the globe and that’s huge. That comes from someone that has very particular taste. When you know what you want, you won’t stop until you get it. [Other people are hearing her album] and are like ‘Whoa!’ And she’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m almost done.’ And she’s the queen.”
