Broncos’ Ryan Clady Placed on Season-Ending Injured Reserve

Ryan Clady has been placed on season-ending injured reserve after suffering a Lisfranc joint tear to his left foot in the Denver Broncos‘ 41-23 win over the New York Giants. In response to the left tackle’s injury, the Broncos signed veteran tackle Winston Justice.

The Broncos spent many hours Tuesday examining Clady, but determined that he would have to undergo surgery.

Broncos players Chris Clark will play left tackle in the team’s upcoming game against the Oakland Raiders Monday.

Dave Magazu, Broncos offensive line coach, said he’s confident in Clark.

“You’re not going to replace him, but Chris Clark did a great job all spring and in the preseason, so he’s had plenty of work,” Magazu said in a recent statement. “It’s not like he’s going in unprepared or not knowing what’s going on. So everybody should feel comfortable [and] go with the mentality next guy up and let’s go to work.”
