Nearly a year away from the November 22, 2013 premier of the next installment of The Hunger Games trilogy, a new movie poster for Catching Fire has been released. Now fans can now satisfy themselves with the latest fix leading up to the continuing adventures of Katniss Everdeen.
The Catching Fire poster shows the infamous mockingjay pin, giving to Katniss (Jennifer Lawerence) in the first movie, protruding beyond the characteristic flames. Is this a little hint for what is to come in the Hunger Game sequel? Hmm, it is definitely not a spoiler.
Catching Fire will show our young 74th Hunger Games victor, Katniss and fellow District 12 victor, Peeta Mellark ( Josh Hutcherson), preparing to leave their families and friends behind as they set off on their victor tour of the districts. But while on this journey Katniss senses rebellion amongst the districts.
The film is directed by Francis Lawrence with a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and Michael Arndt. Aside from Lawrence and Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woordy Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Willow Shields also are reprising their roles.
