LA Film Critics Select Winners

The debate still rages on for the Los Angeles Film Critics Association 2012 award selections. Since they’re still being made and votes are still being counted, it will be a while before all the results are made public. Still, some of the the decisions have been handed down and since the Los Angeles Film Critics usually makes  strange choices, there is bound to be some kind of surprises this year.

Dwight Henry and Amy Adams were the biggest mentions of the afternoon so far with Henry receiving the honor of best supporting actor for Beasts of the Southern Wild and Adams receiving Best Supporting Actress for The Master. Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) and Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises and Les Misérables) were the respective runner ups.  These choices don’t seem that far off the mark yet, but we will be waiting to see how all this culminates tonight.
