Will Smith Set To Host Fundraising Dinner For Obama

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith are set host a fundraising dinner to aid in the re-election campaign for President Obama. The Smiths will host the dinner at their home in Calabasas, California on October 25th.

Celebrities on the list to serve as co-hosts include, Salma Hayek, Roc Nation co-founder Jay Brown and wife Kawanna, film producer and Will’s business partner James Lassiter and wife Mai, and Lady Gaga manager Troy Carter and wife Rebecca.

Guests can pay $2,500 per head or drop $10,000 for a chance to meet the guest of honor, Michelle Obama. The grand ticket comes at the cost of $40,000 for you and your companion to lunch, pose for a photo with Michelle and take part in an exclusive “meet-and-greet” preceding the meal. The funds will be donated to the Obama Victory Fund.

Will and Jada can now join the prestigious list of other celebrities who have hosted dinners for Obama’s re-election. Beyonce and Jay-Z hosted a $40,000 per seat dinner last month that raised $400,000. Gwen Stefani, George Clooney and Sarah Jessica Parker have all hosted fundraiser events. Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has hosted at least two events, one in London and another in the US.
