Back in October of last year we learned that Lifetime TV will release a new version of Steel Magnolias starring an all African American cast. Today we get our first look at the first preview trailer for this new version of Magnolias starring Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodard, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Adepero Oduye and Condola Rashad. Now, I love the original film version of Steel Magnolias so it would take a lot for a remake to impress me … but I will admit, I was impressed by the actresses who have been cast in this new version.
