Kanye West, 34, endures a lot from the media, even the President, but rarely speaks against being misquoted or complete fabrications, well not directly to the media. So, for the “Otis” rapper to offer clarification about a specific quote that has generated miles of blog traffic and made it to a SNL skit, is a bit of a shocker. For the record, Kanye never explicitly compared Kim Kardashian to Beyonce.
“Come on now, that doesn’t even sound like me,” said West. “If I don’t say something in a rap or on Twitter, it’s not true.”
To his credit, the “Way Too Cold” (changed from “Theraflu” to avoid possible lawsuits) rapper has a point. His ego is a bit too ballooned to want to channel his woman after another man’s wife – his friend and frequent collaborator, Jay-Z to be specific. Speaking of his woman, funny how ‘Ye never discredited the dating talk about him and Kim Kardashian. Interesting!
“…of course there are a lot of media inaccuracies surrounding this past couple of weeks…I would never compare anyone to my friend’s wife,” West tells Us Weekly.
The rapper turned designer bomb-rushed the blogosphere when he released the scathing track taking poignant shots at his ex Amber Rose to his alleged love interest’s ex-husband, Kris Humphries. Coincidentally, the same livewire set off dating rumors when he professed his love for the brunette bombshell.
Do you think Kanye received a call from Jay-Z with some nudging from Beyonce to set the record straight? Hmmm..
