President Obama Singing 'Sweet Home Chicago' With Jagger & B.B King

UPDATE-With a little help of Mick Jagger and Buddy Guy President Barack Obama was singing the blues. The President rocked the mic for a second time when he joined blues legend B.B King to sing a few lines of ‘Sweet Home Chicago.’ Last month, almost to the date, when Obama surprised more than a few people when he sung one note of Al Greens’ “Let’s Stay Together” many didn’t believe it would happen again. But as Buddy Guy stated, President Obama started something and now he has to finish it. We must say he carried the notes quite well – though we’re not sure he should continue this trend.

Others on stage included Mick Jagger who handed Pres. Obama the mic, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Gary Clark Jr. and of course B.B King.

The blues concert was part of the White House’s Black History Month celebration and will and air on PBS on Feb 27.
