Halle Berry's Stalker Gets Trial Date Changed

Halle Berry’s alleged stalker Richard Franco, recently had his burglary trial date pushed back 36 days. Today(November 28), Los Angeles Judge Dennis Landin, granted a request from Franco’s attorney asking that his burglary trial be delayed from the set date of Dec. 20.

Last month, the alleged intruder plead not guilty to felony burglary and stalking charges. On July 11 Franco was arrested after he was caught by the actress’ private security guards sneaking onto her Hollywood Hills property.

According to sources, Franco appeared before the judge today, but said little to nothing during the proceedings.

Berry currently has a restraining order on Franco prohibiting him from coming within 100 yards of her, her family and her home for the next three years.

The 27-year-old will remain in jail until his trial and he face up to six years in prison if convicted.

Trial is now set for January 25, 2012.
